Few words for this one but I wanted to see what it would be like

Ойын-сауық

I was alone in the woods metal detecting just any old place. Find a trail head, walk in and turn on the Fisher F19 and see what happens. The usual New Hampshire rock walls, cart paths, and just a nice place. Lets see what can be found and dig every signal heard on the metal detector. You can see this was part of an old New England farm with the old rusty relics and junk along the stone walls. As well the signs of logging 100 years ago and we know they left junk in the woods too. Walk along and read the landscape history and hope for the best. With 300 years of people history in this area you never know what your going to find. Modern coins to 1800s relics and maybe even colonial.

What sets your channel apart is listening to you explain the site, describe how it was used, telling the viewer how you got there, and most importantly how you read the signs the land provides you. NO ONE does it better.

Okay…different…but I gotta say Charlie…it’s not just the relics and things you bring back into the light of day, it’s the lessons you teach in that process. Your narration is a valuable as the history you bring to life. I’m almost 65. My family has been in NH since around 1637… on the seacoast. I’m a retired trooper who has worked all over the state and am a history addict. There is so much of the roots of this nation, that started and prospered in the areas you remind us were once active and now, obscure and overlooked by those rushing past giving not a thought to what was long before they are. I enjoyed the episode but I really enjoy the narration because you put life once again, where it stopped living decades and even centuries, ago.

Just came across your channel today and I'm glad I did ! Watching your videos brought back many a fond memory of the countless hours I used to spend searching old sites. My very first detector was a Compass 77B and a Relic Magnum 7. Now I'll just be content watching your very informative and interesting treks. Also appreciate you listing all your tools of the trade...and then some !!

Definitely different with no narration. For me, narration is better. And the piece you found at 3:04 is a piece of a two man saw. The teeth are visible on your recovered chunk. Thanks for sharing.
