wow Did not expect that even some one from the Band had comment it. nice. And Olly yes they are live on a Whole Another Level The Life Performance from them are very Entertaining. so far i was on 3 Concert from them it caught me totally offguard.

One thing you need to know about this Band.... they don‘t take themselves too serious!!! 🤘🏻

More or less the refrain is saying that the 11th commandment commands to live, because tomorrow is already waiting the dead. And also it commands to love and to enjoy onself. They made the song and video last autumn. That it becomes so actual at the moment is really strange.

Well, Tarmo said it quite well. The song is about the 11th commandment. The message tells to live every day like it is your last day, to live and to love. The white lady is the life, the black, the death. Glad you like the band! It’s one of my favs 💙🤘

Do not stop at one song.... they have many great songs..

Seen them live a couple of times. They startes as a kind of medieval-fun-metal Band but got more serious (but not missing out the fun) the last couple of albums. Live Feuerschwanz is a blast! They now how to entertain and get the audience to a pumped up party.

This is one of my favourite bands, I love them and that newest Song of them is so awesome. Different from their earlier stuff for sure as they have a lot of more fun songs about drinking and partying but really good. I can't wait for the new Album.

Glad you liked it. They have been around in germany for a bit and they do love a bit of wordplay in their lyrics. For other songs I would love methämmer, Schubsetanz, sex is muss or moralisch (höchst verwerflich).

If you like that band you will love In Extremo. They are pretty similar to them and also German. 😉

Already watched this a few times the day it was released, but this is such a great song about life (lady in white) & death (lady in black). The band's name translates "Fire Tail" in English & the song's name "The 11th Commandment".

Considering Feuerschwanz is known to handle... content more of a sexual topic (Sex Is Muss, a wordplay for both sexism and you should have sex / Wunsch ist Wunsch (which has lyrics as "Bück dich Fee" (bend forward, fairy), it should rather be translated to flaming/fire penis. Their character names are also wordplays! Johanna von der Vögelweide (the violinist) uses the word "Vögel(n)", which is another description for sex in Germany. But Vögelweide translates to "meadow of birds" aswell. Just some insight :)

Normally I dont like reaction videos from people who are not able to understand the lyrics because most people will misunderstand the songs. This video is different! When I was watching Olly he was feeling the music and reacting to the music and not only the lyrics or the look of the band - thats really good. At first I was surprised to see an english reaction video of Feuerschwanz at they facebook page but after a few moments i totally understood why the posted this video. Good job Olly and greetings from germany ;)

Hi Olly, in german folk rock the violin, or the fiddle, as I would call it here, is not an unusual instrument. For example one of the founding members of Feuerschwanz plays the fiddle in the band Fiddler's Green. I would like it, if you react to their song "Down". You are right olly, they are amazing. If the remaining tracks from the new album will be all this good is something only time can tell, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them (at least in germay) claming rank 1 of the charts.

you are great man, you had to listen to Feuerschwanz-Schubsetanz. Have fun ;) and as a German, the Bands name, translated it can be firecock or firetail. Even germans are not sure about that.

Hey Olly. These guys just released their new album "Memento Mori" and every single song is a banger. You should check out "Memento Mori", Untot im Drachenboot", Krampus" .. but you should hear what they did with Manowar's "Warriors Of The World United" it will blow your socks off!

IT is a very good Liveband. You should listen to saltatio mortis, "my mother told me " or " pray to the hunter". Both Bands play often by the same Festivals.

There seems to be a pretty healthy scene for this kind of thing in Germany. I have listened to Corvus Corax and Tanzwut for quite some time and a few years ago I got interested to see what else was out there and found Saltatio Mortis and Feuerschwanz. Now I just seem to keep finding more bands recently I found Harpyie and a couple of others within a few days I had not heard of before.

@@sidoniel.8304 I have been an old school goth for 30+ years listening to things goth, industrial and adjacent. So bands like OOMPH! and Lord of The Lost I have known about for quite some time as there is a pretty big crossover from German bands into the goth scene. Van Canto and Avantasia ring a bell, I have probably come across them on KZread or one of the compilations I have but could not name a song. I think some people might have been reacting to Avantasia. I don't think I have heard Equilibrium. Again Beyond the Black sort of rings a bell but I am probably mixing the name up with Razed In Black.

@@PurpleDracos Van Canto is an acapella metal band with drums ^^ its always funny to listen to them. I always have to name them if I read a comment about german bands. Equilibrium is some strange type of symphonic metal and way different to some other bands of the same genre. I really like "Born to be Epic" and "Rise Again" from them :) Beyond the Black is pretty known so you probably heard of them

@@sidoniel.8304 I had a look at some Van Canto on KZread and have like what I have seen so far. I am really happy today though as I have just found Chris and Dero's project from last year Die Kreatur. After just a couple of tracks I had to buy it.

So this video was blocked on 77% of the world. not sure why, so im going to put it on dailymotion too.

I liked this band (so far anyways haha)! Speaking of trolls, have you ever heard the band Finntroll? They're a Finnish folk/black metal band...they do some pretty heavy and catchy music but the vocals may be a bit off-putting for most of your subscribers. Back to Feuerschwanz..this song is very catchy and upbeat. They kinda remind me of a cross between In Extremo and Rammstein. Please do more reactions to their music. Cheers! Edit: Eluveitie may be another band worth investigating. They even have a hurdy-gurdy in some songs.

[ˈfɔɪ̯ɐʃvant͡s] = Feuerschwanz now try to pronounce it. I also lobe the song and I love reaction videos from people around the world. But the pronounciation sounds most of the time so wrong, that I am not sure, they even mean the right band.

Try to learn a little German. We have to learn English at school. And it would be quite normal for you other Europeans to learn a little German like it's normal to us to learn englisch...
