I watched the video during the premier and when it came to the crossfit part I thought "Oh, this may offend some people. I like it!"

I‘m an atheist from Germany and it never even crossed my mind that this video could be offensive to some people. I just thought it was hilarious. I don‘t think any German would take this very seriously :D

believe me, there are some things around in the German medieval scene that would offend radical Christians way more than a white guy in white robes playing Jesus. one of the more famous one is probably an entertainer that plays a Monk called Bruder/Brother Rectus (iirc he is originally from Egypt or somewhere around that area). Often accompanied by two nuns called Sister Kama and Sister Sutra. On occasion there are more Nuns with way more lewd names. He's basically mocking every religion around.

Well, the video looks like they're mocking Jesus, but the Lyrics are just the other way round. Nothing to be offended about. 😂

Don't worry about Jesus! It took him some time, but by the year 1000, he had all of Scandinavia under control and Odin and Thor became some ancient freaky legend characters.

I was there for the last bit of your conversation with Adam. And i don't get it. For the last month Feuerschwanz has been releasing short tour report videos. Often several per week. And each one ended with the complete list of tour dates and locations. How can a fan not know they are on tour right now? They even have their schedule for the entire next year posted on their website. All one has to do is actually look.

Yeah, here i am again; the point is i'm since the last month ore something like that a big fan of feuerschwanz, i saw their cover on 'warriors of the world' and loved it. So since then i heard all their albums. But the thing is I actually meant that i liked it if they would do a tour and als come to the Netherlands, but maybe they need a bit more popularity here for that. I did look a their tour dates, but it wasn't possible this year, so maybe next year.

The churches are much more unified in europe and by that much more moderate than some of the nuttier stuff in the US for instance. Catholics and Lutherans are the main two and most others are fringe groups. For example: in Germany, many Catholic priests even petetioned the Vatican on some changes about some rules like opinion on same-sex relations, clerical celibacy and birth control (they got denied, but they tried). The protestant church (lutherans) are mostly rather liberal in their thoughts except for very conservative areas. In my experience it's pretty chill here.

I'm Christian but I think this is hilarious. I think Jesus would find this funny. This video is basically what Vikings thought when they first raided Christian England "Do these Christians even lift bro?" However, for me the nipple rub was over the line, as well as the perverted grin at the end. Still all pretty funny.

Everyone (even people who do not identify as Christian) focus on different aspects of the bible. That you choose compassion speaks well of you. That said, I don't see how protein shakes and pumping Iron conflict with that message. It's not serious, yes, but the seriousness was added centuries later.

You know what is funny? - I am a female European raised as an atheist and a sound base of viking mythology - and still, when they put him on the crossfit-thingy, my reaction was exactly the same as yours. "No way they do that!" (Maybe they'd better taken him to the hut) 😅 - When you sat there basically speechless, I definitely could relate. It's still funny (as heck, actually), but... the audacity. Even being an atheist (at a time when this was rather uncommon where I lived) I was taught to respect the personal beliefs of others and not make fun of them, and this - well, this was nothing of the likes. I am from North Germany, I am a Pagan and a witch. I just find this hilarious. I also find it somehow disturbing that Christians use a torture instrument (the cross) as their symbol. I am sooo sad. I unsubscribed quite a while back, because these are not reactions you're doing. A reaction happens when you see/experience something for the first time. But this time (and with other non-Twitch, non-live reactions for more popular bands, songs) it's reeeaaally hard for me to believe, that the video haven't even started, and you say "images that my offend you" calling out the egg eating precisely (I guess you didn't want to reference the cross-fit part, because that would've been a big giveaway). But later when you start talking about Jesus, without him doing anything at all, you start talking about that "Jesus wouldn't find this video offensive" and that this is all a story no offense to anyone etc. Like, nothing happened. Nothing. Why on Earth would someone do that if they hadn't watched the video? And these are in the first few minutes of your video and I couldn't watch it more because these just destroyed the illusion of a first time reaction. Thus I don't think that I can believe that this here is a genuine (first time) reaction. And as I said, I believe that you DO live, first time ever reactions on your Twitch, but this (and other YT videos) ain't it
