look up David Icke, the guy said that lizard people are real and brought them to attention in modern media. I have a DISCERNMENT playlist on my channel and I researched a lot of this, I'm not saying that this is real (for obvious reasons) but if only half of this is true, there could be a race of shape-shifting lizard people among us. They aren't aliens though, they are basically modified full-sized homunkulus and their origin goes back to the Denisovans, who discovered an ancient envoy which gave them a lot of information and advanced technologies. They were able to do RNA-sequencing on lizards and after decades of breeding attempts a fetus survived carrying reptiloid genes. They lack empathy and are very obedient which makes them perfect tools, like a sleeper agent from birth onwards. Also, since humans obviously don't lay eggs, they are open for fetal intervention so their gender can be inverted in-utero. Of course this is all just hypothetical, I'm just joking whatever...

Ultra luxury cars are all like that. You can find copious amounts of audi parts on ultra high end vw family vehicles. Or Toyota parts on Lexus, etc ..it gets even more strange when you look at companies like range rover who uses Ford engines in some models. Lots of other arrangements like that. You are certainly paying extra for the name in that case but its still also a good thing for part availability as the car ages. I'd consider it a huge perk not to have to buy a ferrari manufactured part vs a less expensive manufacturer.

A lot of cars share similar stuff, sometimes even entire platforms, it's usually if they are under control of one group (VW group has everything from Volkswagen and Audi, to Lamborghini and Bugatti, that's why you can find an Audi with a lambo engine) or have a partnership on a specific model (Toyota and BMW on the new Supra... It's a Toyota Supra, but probably over 60% of it is actually BMW parts)

"What supercar would you like for a daily driver?" A De Tomaso Pantera with a few upgrades for better reliability and braking. Don't think getting parts would be to much of an issue, which would be something important to consider if it was a daily. Sure a Lamborghini or Ferrari would be nice, but getting parts could prove challenging. Daily drivers break and most people like myself would rather not have to wait long before getting it back on the road. VT247

I think the biggest thing that the Wizard has done for "normal" folks is to make them not only less scared to work on "exotic" cars.... but cars in general. I was starting, more and more, to feel like the systems in the cars I owned were beyond me.... but this has given me the confidence to at least SEE if I can fix it myself. The whole mantra of taking your time and thinking of it like any other car is huge. I do have some okay mechanics in the area when things ARE too much for me, but it's empowering to remember that .... yeah.... I'm still that guy who kept all his cars running with a few screwdrivers and a socket set all those years ago.

What I have found from these cars as I decided whether or not to get one as a project is that these "super cars" are not produced in mass enough to warrant mass production testing and reliability. They know the cars will not be driven very much, and when they break down the owners should have a lot of money to take it to the dealer. Some items like brakes and the engine are complex and engineered okay, but the rest is every corner cut to find something already on the market that works just as you said. Its so much easier to grab another engine from a salvage yard on a mustang than deal with these over-priced foreign units. The 360 is the oldest I care for that still looks modern, and at just over 400hp it's not that impressive vs a supercharged mustang. There are also many problems like their fuel tanks and their location that have caused many of these to burn. Just not enough units produced to find all the common issues cars have. It seems a lot of people also want Ferrari dealership paperwork for maintenance- I'm sure that is a preference, but enough to chase me away since I would do all the maintenance myself. Still a beautiful car.

the 512 testarossa I showed on my channel cost 14 000$ for rear brake and calipers, and a battery at the Ferrari dealership this week.....

That fuel pump housing is the same as my Alfa Romeo 156 twin spark. Same issue. Just dry it out, scuff it with 100grit sand paper and use epoxy glue. I used Bison metal epoxy, and after 3 years and 150 000 km without problem.
