Having the opportunity to drive a turbo s like that one, the launch is extremely brutal, those crazy germans. But damn do they know how to make a world class car because you can just keep launching and launching and launching and not have to worry about the engine combusting into fiery hell! I was a ferrari diehard as well but that opened my eyes and my mind to the excellence of porsche....

zachary paris actually the launch control button is inbetween the driver and passenger seat on the " bridge ". I wouldn't assume the driver is bad either. The 488's launch is fairly soft and it's possible to launch it harder not using LC. But he just used too much throttle and spun that's all.

They're different cars and both are exceptional in their own way. Ferraris are aggressive, loud, and beautiful, but they're garage queens that scream "please give me attention" and give drivers anxiety of engine fires at high rpms. Porsches are simple/practical, more reliable and more refined, but quiet and lackluster for the price of supercars.

Too Vanilla Porsches are plain boring compared to Ferraris. Porsche design has been unchanged since the first car came out, it's always that same boring shit Volkswagen Beetle design. Ferraris are beautiful and full of soul and passion. And Ferraris aren't "garage queens" that's an extremely dumb thing to say. Just because some people choose to keep them as show pieces does not mean that they're garage queens. Gtfo with that nonsense! @The X PoinT Porsches official specs are really conservative, in magazine tests the Turbo S usually does 0-62mph/100kph in around 2.6s

In the traffic-light GP in the real world, that 911 just kills it. Perfect launch, every time.

That S8 is nuts. Wish the front end wouldn't go up so far under acceleration - guess that's the floaty soft suspension though

Damn 3.8 flat six twin turbo, that is a perfectly balanced machine the 488 is a 3.9 liter twin turbo v8...I’d prefer the 458 with its 4.5 liter v8 screaming to 9000 rpm redline personally but I’ll just b happy I got an Infiniti and remember some ppl gotta ride the bus

It's all because of the driver's skills and possibly also because of the traction control. The grey 488gtb did have some traction issues whereas the red one did not.
