The Cardinals let Tatis Jr. walk for $150k. As an undrafted free agent, the Cardinals, his fathers 1st. choice, offered Jr. a $600k minor league contract. The White Sox offered $750k. He came back to the Cardinals to get a matching offer, they said no. I wonder if they regret that decision along with letting Adolis Garcia (Texas Rangers & W.S. MVP) go for nothing.
