That’s true! It’s more so that in media that’s not of real humans we assume features in art and other media. Like how Disney princesses are actually super slim but we often don’t remember just how tiny their waist was in the movies. So women having super gentle features in art all the time makes sense so our brains register such things or even how children are done it art always having bigger and rounded eyes and more rounded faces

This is an actual problem with character art in games and animation btw. Management always wants female characters to be smoother and nearly featureless so any attempt to create a female face with distinctive features will usually be met with resistance. Not to mention that there's usually only one body type for female characters whereas male characters are allowed to come in any shape.

There's no dna gene for the face of a male or female It's just genes for features on a face A male can have a rounder face, a female can have chiseled jaws Men were classically portrayed with raise cheekbones BUT it's LITERALLY a thing to look for in a woman model Look at modelling agency and catwalks and you see their cheekbones Why there SEEMS to be women and men faces are only bcos of hair length and makeup There are plenty of men with plump lips and women with thin ones It's UNLIKE with shoulder width or hip ratio

With the right mindset and patience, you can accomplish almost anything in art. I'm thinking of getting it to this and a good place to start is only doing woman and children first.😂 Let me explain I'm a jeweler and one of the toughest things in jewelery is diamond setting especially beedwork. That's were you set in a flat surface and raise a bead to hold a diamond. So the guy that was teaching thought that was the best place to start. He also played the guitar and thought finger style. Instead of using a guitar pick he told me to learn to play finger plucking. I was just learning to play the guitar. After going through that and meeting other people jewelers and guitarists and realizing how far ahead I was In both arts Ive always thrown myself in the deep end when I'm learning something new. On certain things you it is impossible or unwise to skip steps. But I think it'll be smart to start with women and children 😜

Omg I love it. That came out amazing. I really like it. I've never tried carving, but I've thought about it since I used to watch my uncle carving as a kid. The majority of his carvings are of animals, people, and religious figures. My favorite of his is one of the scenes of Jesus's execution. It was a collaborative piece with my aunt, and she painted the rest of the temple along with the lashes and scars on Jesus's back. It is so detailed and makes me wanna cry every time I see it when I visit them. I absolutely adore them, and they taught me how to paint and enjoy art. ❤❤❤
