👏 The best explanation I've ever seen.
Was searching for exactly that. Thank you so much for providing the file for free! Helped me a lot. 😍

Thanks man. Struggling now with a hood to attach properly to the remaining garment. Did it the tailor way, but obviously it didn't work as good as your approach.
amaz
This tut demonstrates techniques that other videos of cloth sewing do not teach. Nice video Any idea how to exacerbate folds or wrinkles in the modeling stage? cant seem to create more area of cloth without it sticking out since its too stiff
This is exactly the tutorial I was looking for. I couldnt figure out how to make a hood work. It just kept getting all mangled.
I love your video. I have a question:- [how are these clothes with animation!] move the character with a move clothes ?? how does the process work.
Make a video on how to add logos on dresses . Logos and writings
Hey I have problem with cloth sim in blender and my problem is the cloth doesn't go with the model animation I give the sim 10+ frames at the start to do its thing but then when transition starts from T pose a costume pose some patrs of the cloth stays in its place and doesn't go along with body , and I tried alot and didn't figured it out so is it blender limitation or hardware thing or there's something I miss PS sorry for my pooooor english
I love you
I tried opening the .blend file in blender 4.0, but it crashes when I play the animation. Anyone who know why or has a fix for this?
Why does my shirt float away from base mesh?
could you also make the hoodie's front pocket? (the hood's line is supposed to be in the middle by the way, do you know how to simulate a real hoodie?)
Would it be the same process if I add a cloth from sketchfab?
Can you tell me why some of my parts are simulating and some are not ? i really followed the steps almost as it is
I get some issues with the clothes when I let the character kneeling down. The clothes go into the eyes and are still moving around when the character is holding the position. Can anyone help me with that?
How can we retain some wrinkles or shapes in the fabric so it looks more realistic when sim is run?

That's the same thing I was wondering
Thanks for this tutorial. I saw paid addons that do literally this and was thinking of buying one to make some custom miniatures for tabletop simulator, then I see your video find out it's an innate function of Blender. Why is there paid mods then? I am confused.
yeah .... i tried this tutorial and when I played spacebar my simulation looked like a crumbled piece of paper.... ima just go back to Marvelous ;'(
so hoodies have a gender
Thanks
