I'm a relatively small guy and get a lot of comments from people that see me carrying heavy things about how impressed they are that I am able to carry so much weight when an object feels heavy even to an exceptionally strong person. It is because of exactly what you said. I use my entire body to support the weight rather than just my muscles. It is my belief that most people are actually a lot stronger than what they think they are. You just have to learn how to utilize the entire structure of your body as support and leverage.

The guy at the beginning said to hold your arms up straight, so in theory, she’s actually holding it correctly, and the guy was the one who was holding it incorrectly cause his arms aren’t straight. Easiest way to hold your arms straight with a big weight above your head is to keep your back straight as well. So her posture is better suited

I coach gymnastics, I used to explain to my students regarding handstands etc., straighten your arms if you do, then your bones are holding your weight, if they're bent your muscles are... and your muscles get tired before your bones Furthermore, Australians invest hugely in sport for kids. Very, very likely wasn't about "plan", but lack of mobility. He isn't ABLE to do it properly. The woman has MUCH better mobility. Ever try this? Unless you've trained your shoulder muscles to be flexible, you have to engage both anterior delts and triceps to hold it. The woman didn't have to do that - brava for her. Most women have good mobility here, and most men do not. It's a great leveler.

Marine here; she won fair and square, fought smarter rather than harder. The key to all victory is seizing an opportunity when it presents its self, and her opportunity showcased its self in his form; allowing her the upper hand in the long run by using her superior knowledge and flexibility to balance the weight on her bones. Real warfighters know that it isn’t about pure strength, but about how you apply your strengths and where. In that sense, she was stronger than him; cause she knew to apply her strengths in a better way.

This might be my favorite Jolly segment yet. I was completely sold on the food, but that conversation was everything! Great job! ♥️

@@kaje_zu she had a better way to support it than him, she had the arms paralel with her body, making the weight not really on her arms but her feet and the way she had it in the hand, she was just keeping it up with mostly the palm and the fingers to make sure it doesnt move from one side to the other, while he had a grip which is more demanding. even then it would not be easy to do this

I am a doctor and I often get comments like "oh youre a doctor too?", and get called things like "that female doctor", whereas no one would ever look at a male doctor and call him a "male doctor", he will just be the "doctor".
