My dad was in IDF intelligence during the war in Lebanon, he was stationed in southern Lebanon where he trained druze on how to use intelligence equipment, great guys, I remember in 2006 when he returned as a reservist he came back and would give me some food he got from the druze there, was always delicious

Despite the possible ostracism she might face, as many Arabs with "pro-Zionist" tendencies do, she hasn't flinched (and I'm glad she has the support of her family, which sometimes doesn't happen). Ask the Baha'is (I was with a group of them yesterday) about the Islamic regime. Theirs is the largest religious minority in the country (where they originated). They are persecuted, imprisoned, hanged, tortured, all their holy places have been demolished, all their cemeteries have been bulldozed, their young people are forbidden to attend university, and they are excluded from all the professions. This is the regime you seem to be importing. But Jews and Christians have been hanged before. Life for them is not that easy. No Islamic country treats non-Muslims well.

Listening about this young patriot reminded me of a Swedish family we met on holidays this year. One of their daughters was, on return to Sweden, heading off on her national service at 19 years old. She was excited about it and looking forward to serving her country. Her parents her so proud of her. On our return to UK we saw on the news young people in multi coloured hair lying on roads blocking traffic, disrupting sporting events, damaging art, spraying paint on buildings and now supporting terror organisations. Something needs to change. No. A lot of things need to change in the UK. At the top of the list, at least 3/4 of the present parliament would be a good start. Replaced with patriotic people of conviction and not afraid to speak it.

We could make a start by getting people off benefits. I cannot understand (unless you are unwell) that you can just roll up to a job centre and get benefits. I think benefits should be a payment for you doing something! Go and work for the farmers picking fruit, get a wage at the end of the day for doing so. Become a carer, get a wage at the end for doing so. Volunteer at a food bank, get a wage for doing so..... the list of work opportunities goes on and on. Don't just give benefits to people who sit around all day smoking and watching TV!
