What do you know about Hamas and the Plo, shithead? According to amnesty international: "They crack down on dissent, including by stifling freedoms of expression and assembly, attacking journalists and detaining opponents. Security forces in both areas use unnecessary and excessive force during law enforcement activities, including when imposing lockdown measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Torture and other ill-treatment of detainees is committed with impunity. Women face discrimination, including killings as a result of gender-based incidents. LGBTI people continue to face discrimination and lack protection. In the West Bank, authorities make widespread use of administrative detention without charge or trial. In Gaza, civilians continue to be tried before military courts. Courts in Gaza hand down death sentences. Palestinian armed groups in Gaza fire rockets indiscriminately into Israel."

I am not a Muslim. Where has Sharia law worked where it HASN'T oppressed people? The Islamic state practise Sharia. This includes beheadings, crusifixions and stoaning. They are also against the movement and right of women. Saudi Arabia, it's not been too long ago where the woman wasn't able to Drive. Where does it say a woman can't drive? Women can't even be alone Compare the rights of a Turkish Muslim Woman without Sharia law to a Arab Muslim Woman under sharia and you will see the Turkish woman way more happy. And i say women because Islam is a male dominated religion. Women have very few rights and very few circumstances. Also YES your religion does allow women to get a divorse and it does allow them some rights. But these rights are very rarely respected

Green98 Well firstly, thank you for that detailed message it’s appreciated! Tossed around by Israel? The only thing Israel has ever asked is for Arabs to have an ounce of honor & respect Israels right to exist. You would think with 25 times the GDP as the Palestinians next door that Arabs might catch on that there is a better way of existing. Secondly, the U.S. has fought four wars to free Muslims. I don’t see anyone else doing that. Please don’t tell me it was for the oil because we never took a drop. If we were like every super power before us we would have just stole the oil & level the country. Lastly and most importantly....how do you think it would go over in the Arab world a channel dedicated to the learning & teaching that their dictators refuse to do? Practical skills that could be taught online. I have been working on this for 15 years & will be starting the process of introducing it on my own KZread channel in the next two episodes. If you are interested I would LOVE to have an Arab perspective on the concept. Please let me know.

It also stipulates that no law that is inconsistent with the tenets of Sharia can be enacted. @Shine Dal garno I think calling _sharia_ as a liberal law is incorrect because it still rejects the idea of same-gender marriages, while liberalism doesn't. The _sharia_ also rejects the idea of a woman being given the position as the leader of the caliphate or as an _imam_ (leader) for a male _jama'ah_ (crowd) during a prayer, which is something that the feminists definitely don't like. Honestly speaking, despite my support for the _sharia,_ I doubt if it will be implemented justly, especially in a condition where most of the Muslim World is being run by pro-Western leaders and hypocrites who will definitely abuse their powers for corruptions and discriminating minorities.

The west think there is no flexibility in sharia law because the image of Taliban. According to reliable scholars, the implementation of punishment in sharia law implemented by Muhammad shalallahu 'alaihi wassalam was more flexible. For example, if one is guilty of adultery and there are no 4 adult male witnesses who keep their late night prayers regularly (to re-assure the eye witness' honesty), or if there is not enough medical evidence to prove the adultery, the person will be let free and recommended to repent (saying istighfar, commited not to repeat the sin). There was much forgiveness and tolerance in the implementation of sharia law at the time of Muhammad shalallahu'alaihi wassalam, but some people use sharia law for power and many don't study sharia law intensively from reliable scholars. So, I guess today it is difficult to implement it unless the leaders are really truthful to the knowledge of the sharia law.

First of, sharia in arabic, literally, means “law” in english, so you must ask about the islamic law not just “sharia” Second, there is no unified interpretation of what is the Islamic law. There are many schools in islam that interpret it differently. Third, many muslims do not even have have any idea about what is Islamic law. They only know that this is a law were justice is insured for everyone as these laws were given by the god himself. Sometimes, If you try to educate them about some of the islamic laws, they may deny that these laws are islamic at all and may justify their denial by claiming that they were applied in specific occasions only and in specific period of time and these laws are no longer needed. So, before you ask people whether they want to apply the islamic law or not, ask them what they know about the islamic law first.

Either you'll understand what I just said or simply you don't have the required analytical skills to comprehend "my reply". Secondly, don't brag about your skills "indirectly," don't try to humiliate other cuz you think you know better. Still there is Jihad & they don't give a shit about the crap you wrote. abhishek vishwas First, learn to use punctuations. It is really a pain to read your reply Second, I did not say that “they want a law they know nothing about” and stopped. I followed that immediately by the exception “they only know that this a law were justice is insured for every one”. So, basically, any law or action that ensures justice for people is considered “the real islam” for them. Third, I didn’t brag about my skills “directly” or “indirectly”. Any average person can see that your question is already answered. And I already said that many of them will calim that the “medieval” laws are not islamic or they were made for that specific period only. Forth, your reply as whole was intended as a contempt for them and implying that you know better. You did not even try to make a point. Immediately after that reply, you ask me now to not humiliate others cuz I know better lmao. Do you know what’s this called? Hypocrisy Fifth, jihad, literally, means to make effort. For most muslims, it is the act of resisting aggressors and fighting them until they get out of their land or stop the aggression toward muslims. Even though there is a type of jihad where muslims are allowed to be the aggressor, still most muslims do not know about it and many of them deny that this is islamic at all, and definitely this is not what they have in mind when they say “jihad”.

Well you started it "either you're a sensible person or you're just a moron". It sounds the same, what you mentioned earlier. Well I wasn't boasting but you were, nobody asked for your knowledge. It doesn't matter whatever you think of Jihad or whatever it is, I see terrorists doing the Jihad, either you teach them "Jihad" according to you or keep your mouth shut, it won't make any difference. Still Jihad is Allah-hu-akbar and kaboom, it's funny even Sunnis don't spare Shi'ites and other muslim minorities.

They don't have right to sit with Vaishnavas still now. This oppression is still going on in India. A Muslim. And many more events. I won't talk about the Bengal Pact. I won't talk about Kashmir and the recent ethnic cleansing festival in Delhi either. I hope, that's enough to proof your lies.

This verse, if read after the 4 previous verses, is considered by the majority of Muslims to be a political/historical matter rather than a God command. The 4 previous verses (9:1, 9:2, 9:3, and 9:4) specify the polytheists being discussed, and those polytheists are the ones who broke the covenant. In the following verses (9:6 and 9:7), it is commanded that the sword verse is not to be used on those who ask for your protection (among those, polytheists, who broke the covenant). We can conclude, with the acceptance of the prevoius note, that non-Muslims (including non-apostatic atheists) are not to be forced into Islam. The Quranic verses on apostastes (including those who were Muslims that became atheists): - Verses discussing who are the apostates that are to be punished in life: 3:90 4:91 - Verses discussing apostasy in general (without the mention of any command relating to them): 9:66 16:106 4:137 2:217 5:54 Notice verse 3:90, apostasy in belief is not enough to consider for punishment , there has to be something additional (which is not specified in the verse). Verse 4:91 discusses who are the apostates that are to be executed (those who create warfare). We can conclude, with our previous inquiry, that the Quran is not the source of the laws used for execution of apostates. The best system in a multicultural society is one with a separation of church and state. This is the biggest problem with Zionism; it is not an ideal secular system. A secular system is one in which church and state are separate, and is the only known successful example of how to guarantee universal religious freedom and equal treatment for all people under the law in a diverse population.

@Mian Kashif I am an atheist so it's not something I'm interested in researching. And I don't see the point in asking a Muslim scholar as they might (if they are not honest of course) lie, bend the truth or simply get defensive when you point out the "immorality" in Islam. Also, it doesn't take too much to know that Shariah Law is bad: here are a few examples that prove to be barbaric and immoral: - Punishment for adultery : stone to death - Punishment for drinking alcohol : flogging - Punishment for gay intercourse : death - Punishment for apostasy : death I am not saying any of these things are good but the punishment is just disproportionately severe and barbaric. ISIS did these things and even muslims were shocked by the graphic nature of the punishments.

  • @wormeater443

    @wormeater443

    2 жыл бұрын

@Mian Kashif Thank you for being respectful in trying to explain your position in a civil way. - First, I don't see the point in punishing two people that engage in consensual sex. I don't even see the difference between having sex while being married and having sex outside of marriage (the only difference in islam is reading surat al fatiha and having 2 witnesses and the girl's father present, to me this is an insignificant ritual that holds no meaning as the only people having sex are the couple). As to breakups etc... The muslim man can divorce his wife whenever he pleases so I don't see why you would bring that up. Furthermore, the wife can't initiate the divorce as she's regarded as one of his possessions (there's no protecting her rights, when she can be "given" to him as a reward by her parents, there's no age limit to marrying a hir, let's not kid ourselves women in islam have no choice when it comes to marriage and divorce). - As to married people, I can understand that marriage is a sort of contract but I don't see death being a proper punishment nor that it solve the problem of infidelity. And I would just like to point out that in Islam you can't even prove that your husband/wife has cheated on you which is worse you need 4 witnesses that have witnessed the guy's penis in the woman's vagina which is close to impossible (you can check the story of Hilal Ibnu Umayya to see the absurdity of applying the law). - I won't comment extensively on alcohol drinking and homosexuality. I think if you take a little time to think about it you'll know that it's unreasonable to punish people for drinking (sober people commit crimes too, but until they do they can't be punished), or being gay (I don't see how being gay destroys societies gay people have been around for ages and we're doing just fine). - Now, about apostasy: You surely can leave Islam after accepting it, I know many people that did and the funny thing about it is that they were all just fine before but only once they started getting deeply serious about studying their religion that they saw the ambiguity and irrationality in it. - I find the write an Aya or Surah Challenge to be really funny. It's just words put together what do you mean? And who will be the judge of it? You for example? Or another muslim? Check Surat Al Nurayn (if you think that's not similar to the Quran then you're lying to yourself) Also Quran was written by Arab poets at the time and many poems written by those same poets are very similar to the Quran. - And just to make it clear, nothing in the Quran is proven to be right. I don't know how you came up with those figures. Just try to look at things from a rational logical perspective and you'll see that all religions are a joke :)

The Bible speaks in different terns: (Romans 1:18, 22) 'For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness......' 'Professing to be wise, they became fools.' You know very well that when you put all these religions together, they are a mass of contradictions. Only ONE man in history came 'from above', being born of a virgin, died for OUR sins, and rose from the dead, never to die again. (Romans 10:9) '...if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.'

It's kind of a misnomer to ask the question in this way. For example, in England where I'm from we have our legal system, but we also have the Church of England as the state religion which has its own "canon law" concerning the church. It's not that the canon law overrules the secular law, they're just two totally different things. If you asked some Anglican Christians if they think England should keep canon law, and most would say "of course", but if you interpreted that as them saying "everyone in England should be made to follow Anglican Christian religious laws" that would be a misinterpretation.

the people look nice and friendly, but their main point against sharia is the existance of multiple religions/cultures to respect, when the reason simply is that sharia destroys everything it touches.

As a Palestinian I don’t want sharia low in its current understanding. I believe sharia has been mis interpreted by majority of religious scholars

I thought his point was that laws are made by rulers to control others, but it's better if there are no rulers to create laws in the first place. He dounded less like an American-style "libertarian" and more like an anarchist. But his answer was brief and cryptic, so it's hard to say.

@When I Was Born for the 7th Time Sharia law means 'no mercy'. It also means, 'let's se how much sin we can get away while pretending to be holy.' You only need to be born twice: once in the flesh, once in the Holy Spirit. Jesus said that unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Palestine should be an independent and multireligious country. There are jews, muslims, christians, samaritans, etc and they should all be allowed to live equally under the same state of Palestine. Israel recently made arabic as a “special status” language, in other words viewing arabs as different class citizens than the jewish israelis. Israel is an occupying military force, and for justice to be made Palestine should be liberated and the jewish and arabs as “israelis” would become Palestinians as national identity, being free to follow their religion and having equal rights in the country.
