Underrated? There was a time he was overrated as well as his projects (looking at you, dumpster fire Hell Yeah). He also used several words incorrectly solely based on their definition. Circumventing energy? You want to avoid it? Maybe the energy is being reciprocated? He still comes off as a grown man in a high-school mindset.

Grew up on them. My older brother did as well and got to see them way back when. When we heard they were touring last year we made a pact to see them as it would be my first time. Flew into Miami from NY and we road tripped to Daytona. That was such a fun day. We were next to a lady who's seen Metallica nearly 30 times. When Mudvayne played Death Blooms I went into a head banging drunken trance. I think there was a crowd surfer chick that went by 15 times like Jesus on the cross. Got divebomb pooped on by a seagull on my calf. Some dude got peed on. Saw fellow Bills fans, Satanists, Jesus, Santa, Australians and lots of butts. RIP dime, Jimmy, and Vinnie. I’m sooo fucking glad I got to see the rev in 2008
When I heard Mudvayne was returning last year, I literally started freaking out. I was texting, calling, posting to everyone I knew that they were finally returning. That first show back was, understandably, shaky and had some audio/tech issues. However, the Welcome to Rockville show proved that Chad and company still had it. They were my favorite band back in the early 2000's and continue to be in my top 5 to this day. I already have my tickets to the upcoming tour with Rob Zombie. I am still in disbelief that I get to see them again on stage after last seeing them in 2005. Great interview with a truly genuine person and an absolute legend of nu-metal/progressive metal.
Man. What an absolutely phenomenal band Mudvayne is. Bring on that new music. I’m ready to crush it.
Dude i love the atmosphere of this. Being a musician and watching musicians talk about LIFE and being real people is enlightening. Talking about the good and bad, the celebrations and the achievements. Just shooting the shit man. WAAAY better than “Bro we are on tour buy our shit” promo style videos. Johnny and Chad great video guys!
Chad gray is the man amazing lyrics ,hope I get to catch mudvayne in concert this go around
Man, that's badass that Chad was able to finish the welcome home album. Hell yeah in my opinion had just continued to get better and better with each album. Their first couple albums weren't anything special compared to mudvayne but their last few albums were great and the welcome home album is without a doubt their best. Now let's hope for some new mudvayne, even a couple singles would be amazing. Even that they performed together again blew me away honestly.

These guys were the most humble "rockstars" I have ever been around. I worked at the Backroom in Austin Texas back in early 2000s. Mudvayne played a set and I had to get the meet and great line in order. This was the first time I'd ever had to do that becuz most bands that played dip out after their set. They bought us drinks, they met and signed every single fans stuff that wanted to meet them and took time with each and every fan. I gotta say these guys were stand up all the way around and very appreciative of their fans.
