Feeding My Bonsai Addiction with More Trees!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this episode of Blue Jay Bonsai I reveal all the trees that I have purchased lately in order to feed my growing bonsai addiction.
Trees from the KW Bonsai Society Yamadori day, trees from the Toronto Bonsai Society nursery crawl at Vineland and Northland nurseries, and bare root seedlings/saplings from TreeTime.ca
Plus a bonus Father's Day present from Kim's nature!

Hmmm another Larch 🤣🤣 never saw that coming lol- no in reality when I watched Nigel’s video and he pointed out some young larch AND had mentioned you were with I SAID IN MY HEAD ‘Jays going home with one of those’ 🤣 The Oak - after my Oak collection this spring I have vowed I’m never collecting them again 🤣🤣🤣 Yes they have GREAT fine feeder root balls . . . . But I am convinced they are located somewhere near middle earth. And if collecting a 18” sapling that’s going to be at least 6 miles under ground.

Make sure they are in complete shade - and also know all the leaves will wither and die - but give them this entire year to show life before you discard them. - last year it took a solid 3 months looking completely dead before they started relishing buds and leafing out. If by fall they show life sneak them into Nigel’s green house because they need significant protect that first winter
