This particular 'Bolt had been gnawing away at the back of my mind since 2020. I thought it had recently died and I'd never get to hear it. Lo and behold, the siren was never actually inactive and just had to be manually activated via the AF timer.
I have no idea when the solenoids were last used. I suspect that this was the first time they were activated in several years since a puff of dust came flying out.
EDIT: Apparently this is the 50th individual Thunderbolt I've filmed, so that's also cool.
Bement also has a Vortex and a 4/5 port 1000T that can be heard before and after the 1003 sounds. They're tested on the first Tuesday of the month at 10:00 A.M.

Correct like glist said in the description it is only activated via AF timer so they have to drive to set it off

@@centralillinoissirens.I'm probably having a stupid moment but what good is the siren going to do if someone has to drive to it in order to set it off? Wouldn't it be too late to find shelter by the time the siren went off?
Despite the rotator taking a massive dump, I'd have to say this is definitely a very nice video. Good job Glist, keep up the great content man!

it was just dust/debris that was sitting inside the horn, it then got blown out when the chopper activated

you need to turn on modulator without turning on fire and just do it like that
So this signal means the seam as alt wail? 🤔🤨

@@centralillinoissirens. Oh God, it’s seized THERE?! The whole head has to come down and get rebuilt for that and there’s no guarantee it can be fixed - pardon my French, it actually might be fucked. Let me put a word in with some folks I know and see what I can make happen, if anything. I make no promises.
