I think the hall is right, hes they do work fine, its just the the high solenoid, it doesnt want to activate, leading to the siren having the hi/dual instead of the hi/low. Sucks if they get rid of it though.

Sadly yes... a different video shows the last ever activation before it was taken down... it even had a tear drop from one of its horns... so sad. ;’(

Trains and sirens Alt. account it has quite a fast windup and it's linear too unlike the single phase motors. And if you mean short motor as in the case style than it looks to be one of those older GE motors
