Federal Signal 3T22: Broken Hi-Lo Wail For Gas Leak, East Islip, NY 7/22/2021

This 3T22 now has to try even harder to work properly. Between when I took my last video of it and now, the top damper started staying shut for the entire cycle. I was in the car at the corner of Main St and Carleton Ave, so I was at the right place at the right time to catch this. Thanks for watching!

no they didn't, they just turned off the solenoids. its supposed to be doing Hi-Lo for general and misc calls.
It sounds like a mechanical room when it's fully powered

Shot flasher or solenoids probably. Also that 5 port undertone is cool lol

@@linysirenfirebuff4786 Encountered something like this before where a damper would shut and it would try to run hi lo but the flasher is fucked, so it do a high tone alert.

Sounds like the solenoids closed upon activation. Probably does that on purpose so they don’t piss off the nearby residents.

Yes please lol. It got worse since the last time I was here. It was apparently supposed to get fixed after the pandemic. Apparently the RC6 is completely disconnected so I'm surprised it even works at all. Last time i heard they were looking for someone to do it

@@linysirenfirebuff4786 well that's no good that the RC6 is disconnected it makes all the parts on the siren and itself work properly. What made them disconnect it in the first place??

Yes it is supposed to be alternate wail, but the flashers are screwed up because the controls are wired up wrong.
