I'm an atheist but I'm also very much a CULTURAL Christian and Humanist (I love Christmas, Easter etc.). I think what a lot of people mean (when they say we're a Christian country) is that we went through The Enlightenment (The Age Of Reason) . The Muslim world didn't. Also Christianity learns by it's mistakes and improves with the times, whilst Islam just repeats and repeats the word of its prophet making no effort to modify as our knowledge ratchets up!

We’re hardly having a taste of our own medicine when most of us weren’t even alive at the time or were children. That kind of vicious spite is uncalled for. Why is it all the countries the British pulled out of have since gone to sh*t? All their infrastructures have crumbled and in some cases, they have even become dictatorships. And you act as if the whole country was responsible when the average person would’ve been minding their own business, living day to day, working to keep their families fed and clothed. During the Industrial Revolution, many ordinary Brits were working long, long days in factories doing dangerous work and earning a pittance, probably completely unaware of what was going on abroad. Holding that level of venom and hatred towards an entire nation because of what its government did is deplorable.

In Holland we have Geert Wilders of the PVV and he is fighting against this for almost 18 years! He is heavily secured for years already with 4 or 5 bodyguards around him wherever he goes, he cannot walk the streets on his own because of the danger and he and his wife live in a secured home on a secret address, several times muslims put a price on his head, he gets threats on a daily basis and so on! He wants to be our Prime Minister but all the other political parties are refusing to work together with hem or the PVV! That's what you get when you say these things in Parliament! OMG I love her response so much!!! Religious freedom is one of the key underpinnings of UK. Like she said believe you what you want, but you have no right to force others to adhere to your beliefs, or have the right to take over public spaces to push your relgious beliefs. If you want a Muslim country, go to one, do not expect the West to be subjugated to those beliefs which are frankly, barbaric and backwards in may cases to Western sensibilities . If we want to be subjugated and oppressed under lack of religious freedom and Islam, I’d go live somewhere in the Middle East. There is a reason why the flow of people is typically to the west and not from the west to Muslim countries…

The UK is NOT a Christian country - never has been! Just because we have a Church of England (which was founded on dodgy grounds), doesn't make us Christian! Yes many of our laws have their foundations in Christianity, but we're not a Christian country because: •Christianity is not a theocracy - Christ said "my Kingdom is not of this world!" •if we were a Christian country everybody would have to go to church, people have freedom to do what they like on a Sunday •many of the modern laws would never have been passed •the majority is the Anglican bishops etc would have to find alternative modes of employment •every British person would have to be born again (as stated in John 3) •we are secular humanist The UK is also NOT Islamic!

Unions. Good jobs. Strong labour laws. Good borders. Good social housing. Rent controls. Food & service laws. Limits to immigration by percentage of a population in any given year. Which must be agreed upon & voted for & renewed every 3 years. Immigration affects Everything & everyone. Got a good job? Bad news 1000 people trained under a far less stringent education system and trade qualification than you just came into your area. Their country also has a currency worth 1/5th the pound. So all they have to do is send that money home & it’s life changing. So they will work like dogs. & THAT is the reason they want immigration. To keep our wages low through competition we can never compete with. Unions are already a bad word. So you can’t make them join a union by law. This means you’re gonna get undercut every time.

Agreed that the UK is being taken over by Islam, but before Christianity arrived around the 4th century, the UK was populated by Anglo-Saxons & Vikings who worshipped the Germanic & Nordic pantheons. Before that the Romans worshipped the Roman pantheon. Before them the Celts worshipped the Celtic pantheon. These were all Indo-European religions.
