Excellent video quality. The close-up over the shoulder view works especially well as it's the same view I would have when stitching! Thank you!

Thank you. I have been doing embroidery for a while now and this stitch always challenges me. Now, thanks to you (and Sally), I got it. S-S-B. I love it when something just clicks and off you go.

Thank you so much for this demo! I love the look of this stitch but have never "gotten my mind around" the process. I've tried faking it but it never looks quite right. I think I can remember the shoulder shoulder belly mantra. And of course, I can come back and watch you again when I get confused! Thank you again. Keep 'em coming!

Will you recommend a wool felt source? Even a blend would be OK. I want to do my first applique.

Thank you for the clear instructions! I’m just confused on one thing-if this demo was stitched on the leaf, would you draw the line a quarter inch to the right to center the design or not worry about it?

How do you work this stitch around a curve - such as the edge of a scalloped mat?
