I this video I will make a quill pen from a feather and test it. Quills were used in the medieval period by scribes to write manuscripts. Quills were predecessors of fountain pens and dip pens which became irrelevant due to the advent of fountain pens. However, it is always fun to create your on quill and writ with it

I made it with the help of peacock's tail feather & pigeon's flight feather & i think eagle's flight feather & still works without curing.
I will try it with hard gel pen refill cuz I don't have feather...🧐 Can't wait

Pen turned out well. Maybe you can trade for a fingernail clipper
Could you pls tell me what ink you used...i tried the same method but the feather is not absorbing the ink and its drying out quickly..or do i have to use a specific feather?

The ink is Pelikan 4001 brown. You can also try waterman brown

Half the time its out of focus or you cut off the camera --then you cut a bit -then talk -then cut then talk -get to the point !
