Fearne And Her Mum Explore Their Shared Ancestry |

Ойын-сауық

In this Mother’s Day special of Happy Place, Fearne and her mum Lin explore their shared ancestry, wondering how much of who they are and what they feel is down to nature, and how much is nurture.
Happy Mother's Day! How will you be spending today? 🌸
Why can it feel more difficult to talk about mental health with the people you’re related to? In this chat, Fearne hears about her maternal grandmother, who she’s always known suffered mentally, but has only recently learnt more of the details from her own mum.
The two also touch on how Lin inspired Fearne’s connection to spirituality and the idea that there’s something bigger at play in the universe.

Fearne such a heartwarming interview with your mum. I think many people will relate to you both and feel comforted that they are not alone. Thanks so much

Fearne and Mama, thank you for this lovely chat. I’ve only recently come across you and your work, I mainly live under a rock lol. I love that you’re putting out a grounded ‘spiritual’ message from a more mainstream position. It makes my heart sing when I see so many people speaking the same language, recommending the same practical stuff for life, like you did here, that a few years ago would have been considered woo-woo. We are all coming together and all this stuff is now being recognised as actually really helpful and not out there at all in fact. Love to you and this podcast Fearne ❤️🌟❤️

You have that to always look back on too. Communication in life is precious and we often don’t get round to it. Your Mum has passed on a lot of herself. There are palpable similarities in you both. Very open chat really enjoyed watching.

Love Happy Place but this one in particular. Wish I could have had this conversation with my mum. She passed in 2004. Now thankfully mental health is discussed. It wasn't then! Your mum is lovely as you are. X

Fern, please let go of what others think of you. Why would you care what people....who you don't care about think of you. You are fab and doing a great job. Apologies for inviting you and Tuppence Middleton to my Mindfulness zoom course......large glass of wine in a hot bath 🛀. Keep going with your open to all attitude. I like you hate all the polite small talk....life is too short for that.

7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭16‬‬:‭7‬ NIV)
