2009 Barcelona was a nightmare... it tormented teams... it would tease you.. play the ball in front of you giving you that hope if you press hard you will win and boom you lose formation and they score... the entire game that's how they would score you... it was pure class. Almost 90% of their goals was pure creativity

Fueron una apisonadora. Era increíble verles jugar. Qué manera de tener el balón, pasar todas las líneas. Los defensas, especialmente Puyol, eran muros, que además jugaban el balón estupendamente. Púro fútbol. Ojalá volvamos a ver algún equipo jugar así.

@@shumaatiqunnassa4123 I'm not sure, Bayerns Attack is Frightening that Speed is an issue Barca always struggled against teams who could attack quickly Pep teams always have issues with defensive transitions , bayerns press is dangerous, it would come down to how quick Barca could play if they do the tika taka style they lose if they played more direct which they could do theyd have won.

The 08/09 Barcelona team was, in my opinion, the greatest football team in history. That team created a movement in Spanish football that culminated in Spain winning their first ever world cup, using a core a players from the Barcelona first team. I think they were even greater than the 10/11 team that was also unbelieveable. What a joy it was to witness this team play. The way they demolished Real Madrid, who were Spanish champions was remarkable. The passing of Xavi, the movement of Henry, the drippling of Iniesta, the speed of Dani Alves, the solidity of Puyol and the pure magic of Messi. I remember watching the games and thinking that we are wittnessing history being written. We will talk to our grand children about what Messi did to Real Madrid like our grand parents talked to us about what Pele did to Italy or what Maradonna did to England. They wont believe us, of course. They will think we are exaggerating. They will think we are adding details that didnt happen. Of course they'll think that. Why would they believe that in that season Barcelona beat both Madrid teams by 6 goals? Why would they believe that Barcelona scored over 100 goals and conceeded less than 40? Why would they believe that Barcelona played 42 competetive games that season and ONLY lost 6? I'm writing this and I'm finding hard to believe myself. What a season! What a club! What a coach! What a squad!
