  Con Guardiola el barca explotó a lo máximo el tiki taka, porque después con Vilanova si bien se intento lo mismo ya se empezó con los excesivos pases intrascendents lentos, que no podían penetrar las defensas rivales de 10 jugadores.

  El juego de este barca era un espectáculo, esa secuencia de pases esa capacidad de filtrar los pases entre defensas que en la mayoría de los casos eran de 10; sin contar el control el dominio que tenían del balón durante el 90 por ciento de los partidos, a pesar de los intentos de presionar su salida del balón, pero tarde o temprano el barca terminaba teniendo el dominio absoluto del juego. Ni que decir de la presión asfixiante sobre el rival, durante gran parte del partido. La obligación de todos los jugadores de buscar recuperar el balón. Aunque pienso que la lesión de Villa perjudicó en gran medida al ataque del barca, viendo que si bien Messi tuvo números monstruosos, en los partidos trascendentales por la liga y la champions messi no marcó, por lo que si él no lo hacía nadie más; en cambio con villa si se tenía otro referente en ataque que si sabia meter goles en partidos importantes, hecho que quedo demostrado en la temporada 2010/11, en la que el barca lo gano casi todo.

  The 08/09 Barcelona team was, in my opinion, the greatest football team in history. That team created a movement in Spanish football that culminated in Spain winning their first ever world cup, using a core a players from the Barcelona first team. I think they were even greater than the 10/11 team that was also unbelieveable. What a joy it was to witness this team play. The way they demolished Real Madrid, who were Spanish champions was remarkable. The passing of Xavi, the movement of Henry, the drippling of Iniesta, the speed of Dani Alves, the solidity of Puyol and the pure magic of Messi. I remember watching the games and thinking that we are wittnessing history being written. We will talk to our grand children about what Messi did to Real Madrid like our grand parents talked to us about what Pele did to Italy or what Maradonna did to England. They wont believe us, of course. They will think we are exaggerating. They will think we are adding details that didnt happen. Of course they'll think that. Why would they believe that in that season Barcelona beat both Madrid teams by 6 goals? Why would they believe that Barcelona scored over 100 goals and conceeded less than 40? Why would they believe that Barcelona played 42 competetive games that season and ONLY lost 6? I'm writing this and I'm finding hard to believe myself. What a season! What a club! What a coach! What a squad!
