Nichol, thank you SO much for doing this video on your favorite color combos!!! Like I mentioned before, I got the 36-count set of the Zigs, and just feel I have "holes" in my collection. But I have never been able to figure out what colors I need to fill those holes, & I don't want to buy all the other colors (plus, I just can't afford that!). I think this will help immensely. I will definitely check out your blog post so I can pin for future reference. I also really love the card you created. I know the image takes up most of the panel, so the design is pretty basic, but I think you did a great job with the leaves and filling out the design around the greeting. Thanks for going into such detail about color and combos of color--I needed that! With all of the color mediums on the market, I sometimes feel overwhelmed. It makes inverted I difficult to make a decision vision on what to try. I wish this video had come out before I broke down and bought a case of the ZCCRBP--don't remember the pen count off the top of my head. Love your card too! Beautiful job, as always. Thanks for the color combo ideas. I use my zigs more now that I know what colors go together. Of course, I had to make a list but the swatch idea is great. Will have to wait for mine since they are on pre-order.

I need a swatch thing for my Arteza markers! I love them but I have a hard time blending out bc I think I use colors that are either too far apart or too close together. I have tried using Bristol Smooth cardstock too and think it blends well, but sometimes it seems like I either wet the paper too much or not enough.

Thanks for sharing your favs!! Seeing what other people mix together is always helpful. I'm not sure, but i think at some point Zig changed the name of 071 from Flesh color to natural beige. I got the 90 marker set back in March and my 071 is natural beige. Just wanted to throw that out there in case you get questions :)

Thank you for doing this. Some of your favorite color combos are my favorites too. It's funny that you saw the two people in the tree as boys. I thought they were girls. By the way, You forgot to color the leg of the boy at the top of the card.

Do you only use water color paper with these markers and what is the best way to store them? Does it matter?
