I adore this card, my little sister just sent me a bushel of apples from Northern NY state (my favorite McIntosh Apples)... I have to do this card as a thank you, especially since our father always sang A Bushel and a Peck to us. Thank you Nichol, you brought back so many happy memories with this lovely card.
What a great card. I love how you did the texturing on the basket and the apples. The apples look good enough to take a bite out of them. The info you supply is greatly appreciated and really helps me. And this is a super design.

The coloring on the apples and basket is incredible Nichol, especially those apples who to me look exactly like Red Delicious Apples! As you were creating this, I thought that it would be really cool to see two exact cards created, but one which is masked and the other die cut. I know you've done a couple of tutorials lately wherein you created masks and I really liked the look. I myself have never made a masked card yet (I know eh!). I don't think I've ever seen a creator do a comparison between two identically stamped cards before, one masked and one die cut....I think that would be really interesting to see. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing card with us.

Thank you for this video! Your card is amazing. I purchased the Zig markers, but I haven't gotten used to using them. Your tip of using Bristol Smooth and the VeraFine ink are really helpful. I'm going to sit down today and give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration.

I think this would work well on items such as pumpkins and gourds for fall and Halloween, as they are typically more bumpy and textured than apples in real life anyway. I love the concept :)
