In A Major Way is such a classic

I agree Xzbit is criminally underrated. His debute had everything: the beats, the bars, the flows, anything you could ask for. And daaaamn, putting Dre's 2001 that low is risky and bold as hell. I would put it above the Chronic personally but it's easy to argue for both sides. To be honest, I don't event think Chronic is the best g funk album cos Doggystyle holds that. PS. As a kid who lives in the west coast and grew up around it, I'm hyped to see this series. It would be really to see you explain what you like about the album a little more but goddamn it's already a good start.

Grnd_ctrl yessir up until man vs machine he was damn near flawless

I think 2001 will never age. The production still sounds fresh to this day.

Xzibit *At Speed Of Life* was my first introduction to Hip Hoo through cassette when I was around 9 (I'm 27) I played it in my Walkman and it was a dark but dope experience.. it holds a special place in my world of music

It's good to see Blank Face getting some recognition. I agree that it's Schoolboy Q's best work and a really solid experimental modern hip hop album. Can't wait for Part 2, Beezy!

i agree about chronic 2001, had some of the greatest hip hop songs of all time but also quite a bit of filler. the highs on that album tho.. god damn, doesn't get much better

Some LA niggaz, Housewife, Bang Bang? 2001 is dope from top to bottom if you ask me. Dope albums so far though

Blu's Good To Be Home deserves a place but he probably dont puts it on the list... :(
