Favorite Pinoy Sandwiches
I have been doing tutorials on Korean sandwiches, so today I decided to make Pinoy Style Sandwiches. Well, these are the sandwiches my late mom would make for us to bring to school or to eat after school. My mom was very creative when it came to making sandwiches. I am sharing with you a few of my favorites. I used my mom's recipes as a base but I have changed it a bit to adapt to the modern palate as well as my own personal preference.
Please feel free to take out or to add in any ingredient that you wish.
I miss my mom very much. She was a hands-on mom. Recreating her many recipes help me to stay connected to her forever. I hope you will enjoy these recipes and your children will make these for their children too!

Yes you can. If you have a good refrigerator, you can keep the filling for 4-5 days.

It is a good combination. You get fruit and protein and carbo in one sandwich.

Filipinos like sweetened fillings. I use condensed milk instead of sugar because it is creamer. Sugar can make the filling watery. You can omit.

I used cheddar cheese.
Isn’t it better to cut the sides of the bread before filling them, so you don’t waste the fillings on top of the bread?

In my personal experience, it is better to fill the bread before cutting the ends so you can get uniform even edges. Whatever filling wasted is so little since I also do not spread it to the ends since I know I will be cutting them out. In my kitchen, nothing is really wasted because my dishwasher enjoys them all. The earthquake was in the Northern part of the Philippines in another island. I live in Cebu which is an island in central Philippines. We were not affected. Thank you for your concern.
