Oh nice, a happy ending for the handheld. Crazy how much work went into fixing what originally seemed to just need a new USB port!

+Spam Account The Screen issue was more or less a side effect of my chosen way to remove the battery glue. :-/
I have just finished using my own Parkside rotary tool polishing an old Sekonda glass and bracelet, I had a troublesome Dremel and suffered for years until I picked up the Parkside about 5 years ago and it is astonishingly good, I only charge it up about 3 times a year, the same for my Parkside impact gun and cordless drill. Have had the cordless drill nearly 7 years now and still good battery, I am not gentle with my tools either they get ridden hard :)

Hi Watson! I agree! Parkside had some nice products, I use my rotary tool from them very rarely but it works like a charme!

Why wouldn't you sow file the plastic on the case? i feel widening it or having it slot into a cut out would have been a cool idea. or having a small lip and extruding the usb c if possible? very cool video, learning alot, and getting more confident with wanting to convert some stuff i have to usb c.

Since I forgot the whole topic until the end, this was more of a quick solution anyway. But you're right, of course, that there would have been better ways. I'm glad you learned something and are now more confident in such things. Then the channel at least has a purpose! Thank you! 😉
