My pops was a cop and when this song came out I was 13. If he made me mad I’d go into the shower and blast this song just to piss him off even more

@@dailynewsgrind6116 yeah well I didn’t say it ended well.
It's an important piece of American history and he needs to hear this. They are not making songs like this because of chance. These are people who have been mistreated by police for 200 years. This was also right after Rodney King. In all honesty music like this taught me at least as much or more than school did about what they were experiencing and had experienced.

Nah chief, your statement is correct all except for the Rodney King thing, this song came out in 88, King wasn't too far behind.....but this song was already circulating and getting the FBI's attention

I get what you're saying but you can't tell a patent how to gather their child. Maybe it's the language he has a problem with not the message. It's ok to have boundaries for you children.

n word almost gave dad a heart attack lol
This is gangsta rap, unlike the wannabe gangstas of today.
This song is still banging the truth to this day.
They were working on this album, the producers told them to step outside and take a break while they conducted some business inside, and while NWA was standing outside they were almost arrested by cops because the cops said they looked like a gang, they had their guns pointed at the young men, of course the guys weren’t doing anything wrong, they still nearly got arrested! In the heat of the shit they went thru they wrote this song as retaliation!
30+ years later and I still know every word. Next you gotta react to Cop Killer by ICE-T.

And H-Town 's own Ganksta N.I.P song named crooked cops
You definitely get it young man ❤ great reaction
sorry to tell you but it’s a very true message to this day for many of us.
That the lyrics are born out of actual lived experience is what isn’t good. The message is raw truth.
It cool seeing the other side having fun with old school rap music thank you for having fun 😂💯👈
There was so much police brutality before this song came out entire corrupt police houses in multiple states especially LA and Chicago and NYC. I’m biracial, I saw 20 cops show up to arrest my black father for missing a court date. They were going to take out in his boxers. This was for a DUI. I begged the cops to let him put some clothes on. A cop shoved me and said: you want to go to jail? I said you are heartless
Bruh i couldn't stop laughing Ill sub for the journey wit pops 😂😂😂😂
I love this song

Pete I noticed in just ONE month that your teeth are way closer together. Those braces are working well!! and sorry dad, most cops are #ACAB
In case anyone was wondering, please allow me to once and for all put any doubt and confusion to rest: Yes. The dad actually IS Tony Soprano (famous for his lifelong role as James Gandolfini in real life).
I was searching for the song since I like it and found this so I picked this instead and regret nothing, this made it funny to listen and sing along
Lol😂 Dad trying not to lose it
I'm probably older than the dad in this video. But, when and where I was growing up, all my friends loved NWA. We grew-up on the "wrong side of the tracks". So, I kinda get it.
lol,your fathers reaction is perfect.

I felt so much secondhand embarrassment watching a grown man clutching his pearls that hard over cursing in a song
