Father convicted of daughter's murder, mother believes she's still alive

In this episode of Crime Watch Daily Updates: D’Andre Lane allegedly experienced every parent’s worst nightmare. He and his daughter, Bianca Jones, were driving to Bianca’s mom’s house to pick up some clothing when he supposedly got carjacked. The suspects drove off with Bianca in the back seat, and she was never seen again - or was she?
D’Andre claimed some men drove up behind him and said his taillights were out, and when he got out to inspect them, they took off with his little girl still in the car. Police found his vehicle nearby, but Bianca was nowhere to be seen. D’Andre was arrested on an unrelated warrant and let out a few days later, but detectives weren’t giving up on trying to link D’Andre to the disappearance.
D’Andre was known to sometimes spank his children as a form of discipline. Right before Bianca disappeared, he apparently spanked her with a paddling stick because she wet the bed while in the midst of potty training. Investigators honed in on him as their main suspect, claiming D’Andre killed his daughter and used the carjacking as a coverup.
That theory became heightened when cadaver dogs sniffed out decomposition in Bianca’s car seat as well as in her room. Police arrested D’Andre, but this time for murder and child abuse.
D’Andre went to trial and Banika, Bianca’s mom, maintained D'Andre’s innocence, too. A retired cop testified at his trial and said she thought she saw Bianca a week after the girl had supposedly been killed.
Ultimately, the jury convicted D’Andre of first-degree murder even though her body has never been found.
Years after Bianca’s mysterious disappearance, several people, including Banika, have said they believe Bianca is still alive.

They checked thoroughly and it was 100% not that little girl. A dead body with bianca's scent was picked up by extremely well-trained cadaver dogs was picked up in her room and in the car. That's concrete evidence that she was murdered by her own father, in her room, from extremely abusive behavior.

Funny how cops are routinely asked to testify for the prosecution in criminal cases and are typically presented as infallible in terms of their "eyewitness testimony"; however, when such a cop provides evidence that potentially benefits a criminal, well, the government, jury and judge apparently give it the weight of a paperclip. May I add, there wasn't ever a beating that took place that night. The Prosecutors office fabricated the entire case and they know it. Lane never beat Bianca for wetting the bed. She had diarrhea that night and she fell out of bed hitting her head. Lane, kept her awake that night by only tapping on her to keep her awake just in case she had a concussion. Those two Prosecutors I've worked with on many occasions. One use to be a defense attorney and couldn't win a case to save her life. The other was a practicing prosecutor at one time she in misdemeanor court and all of her cases were dismissed. She was horrible. Now she gets in front of the judge who was mentoring her. The judge Help both of them in this case. So did LANEs attorney. He was running with the prosecutors. I called his ass out too.

On the other hand if she was to belive he killed the child it means she will never see her daughter again. Denial is a powerfull way to avoid heartbreaking pain. I see the Step mother as a prime suspect and it is all over this video. She has motive, means and opportunity. Listen to her talk, but more importantly look at her while she talks. Her facial expressions and body language. Now she knows her man still has a thing with his baby mama, she done had multiple 3somes with them. She said that she believes that his baby mom wants him to herself. With dad taking the baby on for a extended amount of time to help the mother. She probably thought that she was going to lose him, he playing with her feelings, the baby is what binds him to her and the baby in the way, taking more of his time and attention. How easy would it be to have your homeboys do the car jacking, you there waiting, take the baby and get rid of her. The car was never the motive for the car jacking, it was a woman scorned or scared. She lied to the police, under oath in court, why did she lie her words "I didn't want to go to jail.". It gives me real "if I can't have you no one will" vibes. She not once looked like she was talking about her missing 2 yo step daughter. She has a matter of fact disposition, like she talking about her day at work. Smiling the whole video. This is just a opinion, nothing is proven facts.

Whats perplexing me is how did two people see this baby at someones house yet nobody took a photo or made any immediate initiative to get the child identified. Pull out your phone and take a pic, show the neighbors the missing person flyer, do a stake out the next day, get the names and do a social media search. This is common sense. Also the mom did a stakeout and said she didn't see anybody that looked like her child. Additionally they are now saying a relative who half the people didn't even know existed was seen with the child. I thought a stranger on the road kidnapped her???

. A few years ago the same thing happened at a gas station in San Antonio. . Guy went in the store, left car running and someone took the car with the baby inside. Turns out the carjacker was the guys cousin. He told her to act like a carjacker and abandon the car. The baby was found dead. He had killed his baby and then faked the whole carjacking. I think they re trying to say perhaps the moms family had people they knew " carjack" the car and" take "the baby. But really the baby has been somewhere safe all along. At least that's the story they re trying to push.

Why didn't the judge issue a search warrant for the Hall woman's house after the former female officer testified seeing the toddler at that house? A warrant should be issued for Patrice Hall.

Sociology was my BA, and subcultures and family systems influence styles of emotional expression, too. You can’t tell how people feel on the inside, from the outside.

This continued but not all the time. Every few months ever years, but the rage and the frustration of not wanting to be a mother or 5 children, she was an angry person. Still is. But also, it doesn't sit right with me that the police didn't bother to investigate that child sighting by a police officer. How do you ignore that bc of your own bias? That former officer dropped the ball, she should've went back to that house even after they told her that the little girl was believed to be dead! I believe the police department was worried about their credibility and didn't want to be proven wrong so they brushed off the sightings! Over the years it has been proven over and over that they lock up innocent people so this is a difficult case. If the dad did it, of course he deserves death, but if people have seen this child the least they could've done was keep searching especially with the flimsy evidence they were prosecuting him with!

If that was my child, and I was on trial, I'd be wanting that proof. Then all the allegations between the defence and the partners....oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.
