IN actual Mahabharat lore He wasn't so nice.Actually his real life lore ver. Is more relatable since he also had faults.Nasuverse ver. Is like a white knight but real mythological karna was actually spiteful and for good reasons.The guy got dealt the worst hand in life. But both were hero s of generosity.

People ask "why is karna not brown", well you can't exactly get tanned if you are the SUN.

@@cakeman4527 That's not so bad & merely just part of his Stats as a Servant. Karna's one of the luckiest & blessed characters in the series in my opinion. He loves Granting & Fulfilling the Wishes of others & is very proud of it. At the end of Apocrypha he was truly satisfied he accomplished his Promised to Siegfried & was able to help Sieg as well. Also in LB4 he gets an Extraordinary PowerUp he Truly Deserves. I am currently working on a Video Project that defines what an Amazing Character "The Hero of Charity" is.

When Indra comes asking for Karna's armour, Karna gives it knowingly because he can never deny anyones request. Secondly Karna misses shooting a poisonous snake who wants to kill Arjuna as an arrow once due to a manoeuvre pulled by krishna who is riding arjuna's chariot. The snake begs karna to take the shot again but because Karna is an honourable warrior he refuses to use the arrow second time even if it means that, that was the only sure shot way to kill arjuna. Thirdly when Karna's chariot gets stuck in mud, he gets down to remove the chariot. In that era in the Hindu Mythology getting down from the chariot meant a temporary ceasefire from the war and nobody should attack them (similar to how pilots shall not be attacked if they make it to the ground). Thus Arjuna is reluctant to kill Karna while he isn't in the battle but Krishna convinces him that if he doesn't kill Karna here, they may never actually win the war. And all of this after Karna has given the divine armour. Imagine the outcome of this battle had he not be so honourable in nature and held on to that armour. P.S. My father is a big follower of Karna and named me after him.

Karan Bhagavath I mean it's just a matter of what things they wanted to keep, and what to change as a piece of historical fiction. For instance, Fate often ignores the heroes' children. Their kids play a larger role in Karna and Arjuna's rivalry.

Its tragic how his guru Parasurama found out that karna was not a Brahmin ,,, Although he never knew his true heritage ,, his disguise was thrown off because of his unparalleled devotion towards his teacher ,, once his teacher was sleeping with his head on karna’s legs ,, suddenly one scorpion started biting his legs but karna refused to bulge even slightly so that his teacher is not disturbed while sleeping,, he kept on enduring ,, blood kept on oozing but he did not bulged ,, suddenly parshuram woke up from his sleep and saw karna ‘s blood ,, he quickly threw that scorpion of karna’s legs ,, parshuram was known to be a very angry man but an knowledgeable and astute teacher ,, he figured out that it was impossible for a brahmin to endure such pain and he figured out that karna was lying about his heritage ,, he cursed karna that at the most crucial moment he would forget all his teachings and his chariot would be sucked up by earth ,, Parshuram was summoned by lord shiva for his angry reaction and he regretted as to what he did to one of his best and devoted students but it was fated to happen since karna chose wrong side to align with

Garett Holy Shit I swear the EXACT same thing happened to me. I had just used the 30 saint quartz I saved up to summon Arjuna and then about a week later they released Card packs for Karna. Since I didn't have any enough saint quartz to do a 10x summon I used my remaining 5 summon tickets to summon him. I was beginning to lose hope when I reached my last summon card but lo and behold I got him on my very last one.

Firo Prochainezo Karna had the bow of Indra, which was used by Parshuram to eradicate all the warriors on earth 21 consecutive times. Arjuna had Gandiva given to him by either Varuna or Agni. I believe the other person is talking about Arjun's pasupathastra. Though Karna also had pasupatha himself, we just don't know know if it was the same as Arjuna or another variant of its kind. Sanjaya said the Kaurav maharathis had many destructive weapons they didn't use in the war, just like Arjuna.

Actually karna can be summon as archer,rider and lancer .but in fate apocrypha karna summon as lancer beacuse his master is weak . So only a powerful mages l ike shirou kotominie can summon karna . Beacuse karna heroic spirit takes a huge mana. So if karna sunmoned as archer or rider then it would be much more powerful

He wasn't COMPLETELY blameless. Because of his feelings of friendship for Duryodhana, he was complicit in a lot of the latter's misdeeds and shenanigans, standing aside when Draupadhi was about to be raped by Dushasana, for example.

Duryodhana was a greedy power-hungry prick, but he was the only one who treated Karna like an equal, so it's understandable that he would turn a blind eye to things that Duryodhana did. Not the best thing to do but hey, what do you when you're bitter towards everybody looking down on you because you're the son of a charioteer?

U will realise it much well why the story goes the way it does, and the only reason stories of karna exist so well to this day because arjuna was the one who after the war built a temple in his name and spread his stories as this noble warrior . Those weren't any small things that he ignored, and that's what the lesson is in his life. The og mahabharat is too long to read but it's really fun if u are into that sort of thing.

The most gruesome thing about him losing his armor is that he cut it all off himself. My boy suffered so much :(((

His noble Phantasm was anti-army & anti-divinity one but the fact that it could destroy Akhilleus Cosmos whose sole weakness is Anti-world NPs says something about the strength & capabilities of Vasavi Shakti

Karna is one of my favourite heroes from mithology, as he follows his dreams despite the strict societal rules that bind him. I also like that he lacks the chestplate, as he was stripped of his body armor.

I also find it weird that that Gilgamesh had already met Enkidu apparently and was still the way he was considering that Enkidu was meant to reign in Gilgamesh's sadism/make him a more compassionate king.

Did you try Fate/Extra CCC or Fate/Grand Order? These Fate show a nicer aspect of Gilgamesh, especially Extra CCC, you should check it out because it's the best Gilgamesh imo.

Karna’s life feels like an endless string of bad luck. I can’t feel anything but contempt for the many arrogant nobles, priests and gods who looked down on him, even though his place was only so low because his own mother abandoned him. The fact that he became such a splendid warrior and kind-hearted individual despite this is wonderful. He is absolutely a wonderful ally.

You know that in the original epic from which Karna comes, he was at a war with Arujna's side (The Pandavas) As the war started the general of both sides shot an arrow to each others chariot, Arjuna shot the first arrow and Karna's Chariot moved a few meters karna tried next but his arrow only moved Arjuna's Chariot was pushed only a few feet away, every one laughed and ridiculed Karna and Arjuna was laughing but later Krishna (The incarnation of one of the 3 primordial god Vishnu himself) who was the charioteer of Arjuna was applauding Karna. Arjuna asked - O lord why are you praising him even though I'm the greatest archer here, Karna lost to. to this Krishna replied - Do not be delusional Arjuna, Karna was able to move this chariot on which I'm sitting, I Krishna the one who carries the weight of all universe with him. not even the gods could have been able to move this chariot. Arjuna - But aren't I the greatest Warrior? this Krishna replied bluntly - do not be fooled arjun, Karna can kill you eyes closed, you are no match for him, He can kill Indra himself (Indra is God of thunder and Arjuna's father) if your father hadn't taken his Armor from him, he could even defeat me in a battle. It took 4 curses/mishaps to kill Karna in the war 1- He was cursed that on most important time in his life the earth would betray him, and in the war his chariot wheel got stuck in the ground. 2 - He was cursed that when needed the most he will forget the knowledge to use Brhamastra, and he wasn't able to use it in the war. 3- He gave his mother a promise to not kill rest of her sons except arjuna 4- Indra took his kavacha and Kundala (Armor) from him Despite all this Arjuna was only able to kill Karna when he was out of his Chariot and was trying to take out the wheel of his chariot completely defenseless.

"Vijaya" was the original bow given to Karna by parashurama as he recognised karna to be his equal. Vijaya literally means "victory" and was used by the god of destruction "Lord Shiva". And parashuram once stalemated shiva in battle and gave shiva a scar on his forehead.And this dude recognised Karna his equal.... talk about overpowered along with an armour which blocks everything

In the actual Mahabharata epic, Indra didn't steal Karna' armour and earrings, Karana donated them to Indra thinking of Indra as a Brahmin. That's how charitable karna was and in return Indra was so surprised at Karna's charity that Indra gave Karna a arrow that can kill anyone, be it God or demon. Karna decided to use that arrow on Arjun but the god Krishna knew of this and instead made Karna use this arrow on Bheem's sun Gatotkacha.

I forgot how assholish the Gods like Krishna and Indra were as well as the royalty pricks like Arjuna. However Karna's friend Duryodhan was one of the biggest assholes to ever exist and did not deserve someone like Karna lol.

Your missing few detail of how Karna gave he's armor away but it is still a great job.

Finally got my boy this morning! He was always my second favorite servant just after Gil.Funny enough their personalities couldn't be more differentxD Though I admire my kind Gil.I simply would never be able to be that good of person as Karna is.Being so Humble,Honourable and Fair.Truly the nicest guy that you can strive to be yet will never be able to become.He is one of only few exceptions in my list of favorites which mostly consists of narcissistic ,cruel and selfish yet awesome bastards:)

His story is far more than this He has 1.bhramastra, 2.bhramsira-astra, 3. bhramdhand-astra (1 is capable to destroy city like nuclear weapons, 2is capable of destroy the earth and 3rd is capable of destroy the universe), Vashnav Astra ( the weapons who can destroy any thing which is aim wether it is human, earth or universe,, and the only thing to nullify it is to surrender before the weapons) nagpash( blinding weapon) nagaastra( he used in Mahabharata to Arjun but lord Krishna save him it is a weapon which kill enemy in one bow) kiranastra( which make another sun) and many more His strength was written in Mahabharata which is equal to move a universe ( during battle with Arjun { Arjuna chariot have lord Krishna and Hanuman in his flag that means entire universe weight is on his raath(chariot) and karna push his chariot 5 steps back every attack that means his strength is equal to entire universe) , He has Vijaya Bow which grant him victories in every war and no one can win when he has his bow in his arm His armor not only protect him but it also absorb impact like a black hole He is the greatest Donner of all time , he Donate his armor, even during his last breath one saint ask him gold so he take a stone and break his golden tooth and give to saint, He is very loyal a true definition of friendship even he died for his friend

Karna knows what was needed to happen. He said it in one of the episodes that he was just looking forward to a good fight with the Lancer of Black. He was even more concerned of it than protecting Shirou (like he needed it) or the Hanging Garden. He died satisfied tho. At least he smiled. Also he has the discernment of the poor meaning he knows if someone has good or bad intentions. He knows that Sieg needs to go to Ruler to stop Shirou from getting to the grail.

You know a funny thing none of the pandavas were actually pandu's son so they have no right to the throne

I wouldn't say that. Karna was truly Happy & at peace at the End of Apocrypha.

Karna is the greatest because in the series they made him a lancer while originally he was a archer who literally conquered the three realem for his friend and not to mention he had weapons and arrows that can literally destroy the universe itself compare him in his archer mode, gil and his noble fantasim are like small ants trying to climb a mountain

Karna is strong but I think Gil can give Karna a good fight

out of all the Apocrypha servants Karna is my favorite as he is a man of honor and forgiveness. a role model of sorts

if this guy were real and live in this age he's gonna get scammed alot and still forgive the scammer.

Karna is one of my favorite characters in the whole Nasuverse and the fact that he is my first 5 Star Servant in the game pleases me. I can't wait for Lostbelt 4 where he can shine even brighter.

Karna's bow which he received from parashuram was Vijaya which literally means victory the wielder of this bow always be victorious in any battle . Bhargava Astra is an arrow ( personal divine Astra of parashuram) this particular arrow can't be blocked or countered by any means .

karna's teacher also give him a boon that he will be remembered as a glorious warrior but not as a greatest archer until the end of humanity. Till this day in India he was referred as great, generous warrior even though he fought on wrong side. and also he willingly gave his Armour to indra (king of gods). In all his life even when he become a king every one discriminated as lowborn until his death. His whole life is tragedy only moment he find solace is when duryodana (villein) recognized his talents and make him a king of anga (currently Bangladesh). He is tragic hero of Indian history.

I learnt of Karna looong before I knew the concept of a demigod, so it feels a bit weird to me that he is one, lol

I'm lucky enough to have an anime character named after me 😂

I'm thinking because he had to be stuck with a master who is so weak that he can't fight at full strength, had already gave away his armour to his master so said master can survive and return to earth. Normally a servant like caster, archer and saber wouldn't hold a candle against him. Gilgamesh yes but Gil knew he was soo weakened he didn't bother unleashing his noble phantasm.

I read Mahabharata. He was defeated by help of total 3 curses and by mastermind behind the war. Then only Arjuna was able beat him. The curses were 1. The mother earth will not help him when in most need. His chariot got stuck in mud. 2.he will forget use of his brahmastra when in most need given by his teacher(sensei) parushurama. As parushurama only taught Brahmans and karna lied to parushurama that he is a Brahman. 3. He won't be aware when he will die. So one sage was copulating with his wife transformed as a deer and karna killed him thinking he was a deer then he cursed him he will be looking elsewhere when he will die. So in the battlefield karna's chariot got stuck in mud. The one who was to control horses ran away. He was pulling out chariot and Krishna (the ultimate god and mastermind) told Arjuna to attack him at that moment. Though karna was a legendary warrior and was hero of charity. But due to his extremely nice nature and shit life he succumbed to evilness when he joined Duryodhana( the antagonist of Mahabharata). If any more questions ask me free to answer.

Justic He lost in Foxtail because Jinako was a shit master who didn't even step in the battlefield and Leo was an excellent one. The three main servants won with plot armor in CCC because his hologram spear is pretty much written to miss in the game. Can't have the protogonist's servant get killed by the midboss. All of them basically got one-shotted with Brahmastra in the first match. Gilgamesh winning the rematch was okay because while Karna was said to be holding back, Gil wasn't being serious in the first battle either.
