    He told me about the hair on the keyboard on Twitter! I told him I found hair in my futon every night at the dorm I stayed at while in Japan and he responded with that hair story. I don’t really have experiences with ghosts here in America but in Japan it was constant.

    Shibata sounds like both a pain to be around but also delightful. Sure the ghost thing would get annoying but he seems like the type of man who's constantly thinking and could probably be someone who can give great advice of you asked him. In a way he reminds me of Hideaki Anno. Both men have made great things. And while Anno wishes to move on from his past works and create new things, Shibata I feel loves writing about ghost and life. They're like two sides of the same coin.

    I love this! It all sounds like they were sleep deprived and unhealthily working 18 hours a day, sleeping under their desks and having too much coffee. They were probably delusional and truly having hallucinations due to lack of sleep and constantly thinking about ghosts xDD Great for the marketing campaign though.

    I believe the developer and his team. Some people do see spirits and have experiences with the paranormal. Not everyone has a sixth sense, but it can be put into a perspective such as a game or a movie for others to see what it's like.

    I believe that would be it. I hallucinate noise one time when I pushed myself so far and for so long that I heard a whipping sound stay still in one place. It sounded like a ring being thrown, but instead of the sound going further away, it stayed in one place.

    From what I know and found out, stuff like angel, god, and spirits seems to 'exist' but in a way that bends human understanding. By that I mean those names are just 'labels' humanity invented and are convenient to use. They are essentially 'entities' that can take on many forms basically, and they exist as forms of energy more so. On stuff like spiritual awakenings that some humans seems to get, and getting 'contact' by angel and supposedly the 'god' itself, it's often in cryptic puzzling forms of visions and emotions or information that pulses through said person. There are even statements that say that when a 'angel' or 'god' communicates with a spiritually awakened person (someone who I think is at their weakest mental state in life), euphoria in the form of 'spiritual orgasm' or a vertigo without the anxiety aspect, is felt running down your spine... As if it can 'trigger' the dopamine in human brains to be released for split seconds? If it comes to negativity, as in saying something which gets a negative reaction from them, you get the feeling of 'dread' and 'fear' running down your spine, with goosebumps. *This kind of hypothesis gives me a bit of dread because this is how you also brainwash individuals to align their thoughts and ideology to what you deem to permit too.* Hypnosis for instance can 'reprogram' a mind to function differently if the mind is malleable (vulnerable) enough. Social media can trigger these positive/negative feelings with the media you see, or the responses you get from other 'humans', whether they be bots or trolls. Now when it comes to ghosts and entities like them, they seem to fall in a similar category in a way, since they embody 'emotions' of a sense, and those same emotions can trigger the 'euphoria' or 'dread' in humans as well, maybe with less 'intelligence' of that sense since they may not communicate properly. I saw a thumbnail of a 'biblogically accurate angel' (KZread) on description in the bible to one, and it was a 3d model of a giant four winged eyeball with 5 eyes, which makes me think that the 'angel and god' entities can basically shape shift, or in essence has no physical bodies, hence they can 'create' the illusion of one in our minds, like schizophrenic patients would see things that is not there. This makes me wonder if these entities are there in the 'open space' but at the same time isn't, because they may be living in our 'mind'? A computer simulation is the best analogy of these things, if you look at the universe and the humanity as part of a 'simulation' of a bigger picture.

  • @dra6o0n

    @dra6o0n

    9 ай бұрын

    In a way I wonder about the concept of "existence". When many people buys a false pretense of a ghost that exists in a specific location with a description, the 'power' of all these minds accepting the entity exist, may actually 'create' said entity in said space when they enter the environment that matches what they know. Your brain can be weaponized against you with the power of human imagination. With a big enough lie you can make a ghost become real, or the opposite is true, make a ghost become non-existent by fooling everyone of the opposite pretense. In the past I also questioned about the human mind, everyone can be living their own POV, and everyone else that interacts with them are merely figments of their POV'er mind. Everyone is real, but everyone you interact in your own POV is not real, due to the nature of parallel and multiple universes that can exist all at once. Long story short, this just means that everyone's POV is their own mini-universe. This also leads into the hypothesis of 'fate/destiny' if we could change our future or if it's set in stone and we only 'think' we have that option.

    Personally, I think it is likely part advertising - I'm sure if someone hire up heard this stuff was 'happening' they'd capitalize on it - but I could also imagine how working on this kind of project could get you worked up, and so many of the stories happen when these people are alone in the middle of the night at work, seems like the prime situation to get yourself worked up over nothing. But who the heck knows what's happening with Shibata, the man's life is a mystery.

    the only thing that bothers me with the newest Fatal Frame games is that the characters look too beautiful and perfect like a cute model. Is too distracting imo, even the female ghosts look strangely pretty. I'm suposed to be scared, not to fawn over a waifu ghost. The original trilogy was perfect.

    to be fair, they always looked like that... it was just because of technical limitation, that the first ones didn't appear like this. 😅

    i'm not try to be a rude but seriously, some ghost should tell Shibata and Kikuchi that 4,5 have bad gameplay and some really terrible bad design decision. And that next time Kikuchi should let Shibata's scaryness go full potential, think about what they could have done with new XBOX and PS5 hardware not just some Nintendo Switch

    This story reminds me of how for years in my city people were complaining about headaches and weirdness in the courthouse here that they thought it was haunted. It only turned out recently that it was poorly built and chock full of black mold

    I love the buddy comedy tv show pitch but we have to have that white face from the peeking door incident as the plucky ghost side kick. We’ll get twice as many “stop it”’s from Kikuchi (Kukuchi?) sorry if I got that wrong.

    I will be honest, I was so scared of the first couple games, everytime a ghost popped up it freaked me out. By the fifth game, the maiden of black water. The ghosts were an annoyance 😂 I guess I used to love it more when you're told a ghost story. IE, you're told about a specific room where a certain victim died in, whether they jumped or hanged themselves and that if you were to enter that room you'd still hear the screams of them as they fall, or the legs dangling. You can't just keep throwing the same ghosts wandering about everywhere and expect me to be scared. Half of the fifth game, the photos I took was, ghost walking this way, ghost walking that way. Ghost looks under a table. Like... really?

    I can't say if ghosts are real or not, but I grew up in a house built in the 1940s, and I uh, had experiences I can't explain to this day including things like windows opening themselves so, can confirm Weird Stuff Happens :D

    My issue with these experiences is that they’re very indicative of mental or physical health issues. I’ve hallucinated terrifying ghastly things before due to high stress with my OCD, a disorder that has a relation to schizophrenia. Also my mother and sister are the only people I know to have supernatural experiences, one has epilepsy and the other who most likely has it is too scared to get tested. Epilepsy messes with the brain in such a way that most people misread their medical symptoms as having a sixth sense and being ‘in tune’. You can have epilepsy for years, even decades without experiencing a seizure, but there are an abundance of other symptoms that people overlook. I love a good ghost story but I don’t believe in any of them. I hope that the devs stay in good health and that I’m wrong.

    I do love hearing people's stories of haunted experiences... As fun of these stories are I imagine a lot of it is bullshit they made up. That's a lot of experiences to happen to such a small group of people. Lol I love the Fatal Frame series, its super cool and has so much atmosphere. Hope we get a 6th game sometime. Though I really wished they would make the horror more subtle and scary... If they toned down the camera combo system it could help, it really kills the scariness of them when they are constantly in your face and your just waiting for the right moment to blow them up and do the most damage possible. Also seriously need to tone down hornyness of the ghosts... In replying Fatal frame 5 with the latest rerelease I kinda forgot how overly sexy so many of the ghosts are.. some ghosts you fight in that game feels more like your fighting a huge pair of boobs. Lol it's pretty excessive.
