FASTEST Time Recored In YEARS On The Tail Of The Dragon

Спорт

When ppl say they were running 9 min flat times back in 2014-17, the road was in a LOT BETTER CONDITION… Now that the road is in very rough shape than it was back then, ppl claiming 9 min passes have to come do those 9 min passes now while the road is completely different than it was back then… so as of right now, my time is the NEW Dragon record for 2023…. 9:04!!!🔥
If I’m wrong, pleas come prove me wrong…..o

Went thru there back in the mid 90s on a CBR-600F2 with a slip on exhaust, jetting, and a GSX-R750 front end and 320mm full floaters and 4 pots. I got thru it then in a little over 11:30 but I used all the road to do it on my very first run thru. My tires were also done after riding in and out. The fastest run thru at the time was 10:30 on a CBR-900RR that was preped. Big power didn't help much there then. Totally believe your run and incredible time for the roads down there.

Right after you pass that car, your head was sticking out over the lane a little bit when you went by the other car in the opposite lane. I'll bet that driver puckered up just a little bit.😂 It made me pucker up just watching! Lol No armchair advice for this one, everything looked great. I could tell you were getting a little tired at the end. Promise i'm not talking trash cause I definitely can't hang with that level of riding at my age. I can do 6 fast laps back to back with no issues with regular leaning. A lot of ppl on the dragon ask how I’m able to do so many laps without stopping? II tell them Ive been riding this road for 2 decades, I’m just used to it… the record is 9:00 and that was when the road was smooth. now it’s very rough and a lot of sketchy spot and I still ran it in 9:04!!! "318 curves in 11 miles".....gotta go there...LOL By the way, I was from Florida where you might have 11 curves in 318 miles. Ever hit Blood Mtn, that's a fun ride too. Impressive ride time!!

@@freeride6073 Why do so many people believe supermotos are faster? Look at any race track times and sport bikes are always faster. Sport bikes are extremely quick, you just keep them in their power band like he did, he was never short of power when he rolled on the throttle. It was hard to really see, but he wasn't even using brakes all the often, only on the more tighter curves at the end of a higher speed straight, which means he always had plenty of torque, engine braking, always in the power band. There is nothing a supermoto is going to somehow manage better here.
