0 to 268mph in 5 1/2 seconds on one drive tire with a chain and sprocket. That's orchestrated insanity, and really cool to watch.

@@marque1d 110% agree!! I know they've been working hard on it so the fact that it's not just them at Indianapolis and seeing Larry put on the show and the TW have an incredible bike should hopefully up quite a bit. In my humble opinion, Top Fuel bikes don't take away from the Harleys and vice versa. Do their own thing and they're both cool in their own ways. Naturally, the Pinnacle of nitro drag bike racing is the blown Nitro bikes. As a side note, it'll be really cool when The Supercharged Harley's get their programs dialed in. I can't wait for Larry and teams at 270 and do a 5.4 second, it's going to happen :-)

One of those straight runs you mention that was recorded a few months ago resulted in a 5.50 pass, still the G.O.A.T., but it wasn't any faster. This video is a bit deceptive; the camera angle looks like Larry is running about 150 instead of nearly 270. The ride itself is scary enough but lying right on top of a 1500 horsepower nitro fueled hand grenade is even scarier.

It's hard to control these bikes, there like a pro mod, all over the track, and everything happens quick, the wheel comes up the power is shifted all to the back wheel and your in charge of aiming and drippling it from start to finish without crossing the center line, good luck! Your going to need it, 250+ mph on a bike is crazy, hell 150-200 is crazy and you can get a bike from any major dealership for under $15k tomorrow if you want, them Suzuki and Kawasaki 1300cc &1400cc will happily sell you won, and then bikes will scare you, then try the bad boys and go 268mph and talk to me after you change you underwear, lol
