  I love the NHRA but they missed the boat this weekend with not airing Top Fuel Motorcycle. Does everything have to be about major sponsors?F S1 not one mention of Fuel bikes. What a shame.

  Great to have NHRA back at Route 66. I was there on Saturday and planned to watch the finals on Sunday but FOX didn’t start that until 9pm. They way FOX scheduled the coverage was less than stellar.

  Why are pro stock reaction times so much lower than top fuel dragster? Is it related to the wheelbase?

  Pro stock drivers usually have better reaction times because pro stick cars respond faster than a top fuel car. A top fuel driver hits the throttle when the light turns yellow and it takes milliseconds for the car to react. Usually a top fuel driver's reaction time is between .030 to 0.080. Anything lower than that is just pure luck.
