Von was minding his business and suddenly Fred the local BlackPoint Marina Crocodile leaped towards him. Von never realized he was the fastest man alive his reaction put me in tears. Fred and Von had a staring contest earlier and once I walked on the very high king tide ramp it set him off.

I'm in Jax and we've had a major nor'easter hitting the coast for the last 3 days. Coastal flooding all the way down to Daytona as far as I know. This high tide has to be tied to it.

He's known as Dundee for obvious reasons and he is best friends with Martha the manatee.The two are often seen together but Martha isn't in any danger from him.

@@minecachair The locals call the croc Fred and the largest Manatee the locals call Wilma, she loves attention. She loves getting fresh water from a hose while the boaters scratch her head.. Last I heard there were several Manatees and several Crocs, one is Fred and then there is a female and a smaller 8-foot croc.

That croc wasn't jumping at him. The croc was approching him for a handout. It was behavior it learned from everyone throwing the croc fish. When the croc found out it wasn't getting fish it turned in fear and ran. That croc is a death waiting to happen someone is going to fall in one day and that croc is going to hurt or kill them. The people should run it off everytime they see it. Scare it everytime they see it. It would be safer for the people and the croc.
