Who makes the fastest electric car - Audi or BMW? It’s time to find out!
We’ve got Mat in BMW’s fastest EV, the iX M60, going head-to-head against Yianni in Audi’s fastest EV, the RS e-tron GT!
So how do the two compare? Starting with the BMW, it’s powered by two electric motors that combine to produce 619hp and 1,100Nm of torque! It’s powered by a 105kWh battery pack, and as a result, it’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 2,584kg! It’s also pretty expensive, at 2,584kg!
Then we have the Audi. It’s also packing two electric motors, which combine to put down 646hp and 830Nm. It’s got a smaller battery pack, so as a result, it’s a bit lighter, coming in at 2,347kg. It’s also slightly cheaper, at £115,000.
So how will this play out… Will the Audi’s less torque prove decisive? Or will the lighter weight power it to victory? There’s only one way to find out - LET’S RACE!

Another interesting and entertaining video. The Audi looks quite nice, I think: fairly subtle and elegant styling. I'd have one!

Relax is my favorite Setting in the iX its so soothing at Highway Speeds!
Floret Silver really suits the lines and sculpturing of the RS E tron GT. 👍👍

Audi's the only ev design I ever loved 🔥 That bmw would honestly would look cool without that nose, it's a beautiful suv but literally that grill is spoiling the whole stance of it.

Because different people have different tastes. One thing that may not appeal to you, may appeal to the next person etc. Also, the iX does not compete with the Taycan or the e-tron (unless it's an e-tron SUV).
Matt coming in with a race we didn't ask for😭😭.. but yet so great 🔥🔥🔥
In the future I think it'd be great to see some consistency in tires too, to eliminate that factor in the drag races and brake test. Probably makes a big difference!

You guys are electrifying. Scrap especially the BMW, but send the bits to a band.
Tbh, I think it's quite scary how fast these heavy electric SUVs (also trucks like the Hummer EV) accelerate. It's already dangerous in powerful ICE SUVs if someone, for example, confuses the brake pedal with the gas pedal while driving in the city - but at least there's some "input lag" from the transmission changing to a lower gear (assuming that the transmission is not in sport mode).

The Audi RS e Tron also weighs a ton Sadly BMW's EV's have some of the WORST weight, the BMW i4 m50 weighs over 5000LBS! WORST in its class, very poor
not sure if vanity plates in the UK are a thing, but the electric audi with T800 license plate is a nice one
