In response to Allan Rose, I believe Chad's approach is borne out of his Discovery Channel experience, where he had 30 days to complete whatever he started. I also believe that everything will eventually be completed. But in the meantime, he's interested in teaching and sharing how he does things. Completely finishing a project is not his goal in my belly button opinion. It's not the destination. It's the journey. And we're all along for the ride.

To Wine Dave. Please don't say "You're exactly right" referencing my comment, and then go on to trash Chad. You are entitled to your opinion. But it's not one I share.

Perfectly said.
Glad to see your wearing a dust mask buddy. I'm 70 yrs old with COPD from not protecting my lungs years ago. Now i can't do anything, it gets worse every year so keep wearing it dude. Jolene don't you stand there filming if the air in the room is full of dust. Set up fans to suck it out of the room or you wear one also! Thats the Hiltz safety meeting for the day!
Good show with the mask chad. I hope joliene is wearing one as well. Your followers are very concerned about your health and safety. We love you guys. ❤

The world can get fast at times, Chad and Jolene ground me out!
I don't even fix up cars, but I like to listen to this guy talk about stuff. Great personality dude.
Another lesson and reminder to do it carefully. Go for it Chad. Jolene is simply amazing every day with the video.
Back in '78, I worked for a guy in a body shop. I learned how to block sand. That was it. I've learned more from your videos in a couple weeks than I did from that sketchy dude in 6 months! Good stuff!
Always learning watching Chad .He's the best. No doubt in my mind ! Australia. Dave.
Hey Chad and Jolene! I watch every day and I’m from the ozark’s in Missouri. My projects consists of a 1958 f-100 step side a 1979 international scout II and a 1969 VW bus I would like to see you put an oval back window in the bird just my belly button!! Thanks for all your guys hard work and daily inspirations!!
Hi chad and Jolene, I'm currently working on a 1980 Ford mark 5 cortina with two doors. I'm from the UK, and love to follow your 1958 Ford thunderbird and I absolutely adore it, absolutely brilliant I must say. Your knowledge is second to none and all your skills, including your attitude. You explain everything in detail and how it is; straight to the point. Honestly I've learnt more than I ever have before especially on body filling and preparation. I watch your videos everyday, it's become part of my routine. I have to say, Jolene's welding is fantastic. What a brilliant woman. God bless.
Oval for the window would be awesome! With port holes on the sides. Good job Chad and Jolene!

I don't agree, I always thought that port hole windows looked tacky. It would ruin the clean straight lines of the car.
Thanks again for the lessons. I've been told that if you don't learn something new every day, you've wasted a day. The little jig with your ditty gave more than just Jolene a giggle. I think its healthy for an adult to be a little silly by times. Keeps your inner child smiling. I'm working on a trike and these body work tips are invaluable. I hope it turns out as good as the picture in my head!! I think you are keeping Fina out of the shop because of the dust, that stuff isn't good for lungs, good on you for masking up, I hope Jolene did as well. I'll be looking for you tomorrow.
I like the way he explain the ocean floor makes a lot of sense to me I’m going to try and use that concept next time I do bodywork
I never thought about the fillers having variances in hardness🤔. I had found going back and filling small areas never worked well on fenders with compound curves and reverse curves. 1960-64 Corvairs I found cut best using airfile with standard blocking crisscross pattern working in the body lip all around the car. Great episode, thank you! hance
Iowa here, watching a master class in body work! I look forward to a new episode every day! Learning so much, THANK YOU!!
Watching from the Finger Lakes region of NY. My current project is the restoration of a Jersey Speed Skiff. Fabrication and bodywork skills are needed in boat repair as well so I always learn something new watching Bad Chad.

Hey iam at loves near ya
Looks great! 1940 Plymouth coupe here in SE PA. I think the 55 to 57 T-Bird rear window would be just small enough to give a nice metal border around the glass. Great video Jolene!
This is great. it's so helpful to see in real-time how long this process takes. So often we watch stuff on KZread and think "that looks like fun, I could do that" then when we try to do it ourselves we find out, "wow, this takes a long time". I remember watching "This Old House" back in the day and thinking "Home remodeling looks like fun" But Bob Villa had Norm doing all the actual work off camera. I don't have a Norm to do my work.
Your treatment of the body rr deck dip in the center to avoid a dip in the glass by adding a U-turn in the deck drop is BRILLIANT. Looks beautiful, and looks factory, too.
TY Chad & Jolene, you do more effective teaching than i have ever seen
Excellent. Thanks for the lessons. Never too old to learn.
Chad I know you will getter done and it will be righ and I watch you everyday at 5 pm in Louisville KY and I've have learned alot watching you todo and not what todo and I thank you for the time to explain what you do. No Jolene I haven't forgotten you so I will say hi to you and say thank you for keeping the camera and doing a great job. God bless you and Chad and have a blessed evening and night
Always wanted to do body work, you have convinced me I can do this! Great Teacher!!!
You're a great teacher Chaddy, I really like how you explain things over and over again. sometimes it takes a few times for it all to sink in the old brain. Or there are now watchers on your channel that has not seen your work being done, and they appreciate your explanations more than a couple times. In the end it all make perfect sence and easy to follow your guidence. Thank you both for sharing all the awesome learning experiences.
Probably the best explaination of sanding and filling ever . Great job dude.
Looks good chad I like watching you I remember way back when I first started doing body work in the 1970
Excellent demonstration excellent teaching excellent job
Good episode Chad and Jolene..Love the lessons you are sharing..This car will be amazing..
You are a good teacher! Thank you!
I think that later on ,in Chads journey , he will be able to do the finishing of all his creations. That’s the gravey, those videos in a few years will be even better! Thxs Joelen your a good team together 🇨🇦🍺🥓👍😎
You guys are an incredible daily inspiration. Thanks for sharing your endless talent and creactivity.
The Flood, good way to visualize. Thanks for show.
Love how you teach step by step Chad. Love Jolene on the camera!!! Watching every day from Pennsylvania!! 😎
Great job Chad I really appreciate with the extra skills you show us. A small rear window out of a 48 to 53 chevy pickup would be perfect for the bird !!!!

You could even add the corner windows to eliminate those blind spots too! Woopee!
Thank you Chad and Jolene for the tips and tricks.
Great video again showing it all, Jolene as always perfect filming the whole process, thanks for sharing
Glad to see you put on a mask Chad, hope Jolene got one on too. I ruined my back at work and I'd do anything to recover what I've lost but it's not too late for you bud. So keep playing it smart, we all, want to see you enjoy your success. btw " I say, square window because of the square look of the outline of the back roof. " Enjoyed this lesson on sanding Chad, it clicked when you showed the chalkboard illustration.
Learned a lot today. Thanks Dream Team.
Continue to enjoy watching this video and learning. Thanks for taking the time to show us
Excellent information. All great tips. I was looking for the ocean floor today. You have definitely help me. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Ron
dude you videos are re igniting my passion for body work
Great job today really explained well. Car is looking good keep up the amazing work 👏!!!!!
Hi Chad and Jolene my wife and I watch you all the time. You were asking for ideas on the back window for the thunderbird. I was thinking a window from a 1960 to a 1965 Ranchero or maybe a 1964 -1974 el Camino would work. Oh yeah forgot to say where we’re from. We’re from Deary Idaho, my project is a 1938 Alis Chamler model B Tractor. Thank you for what you do. You two are wonderful. And fun to watch.
Looking super smooth, and I'm looking forward to seeing more sanding tomorrow or tonight if you decide to post another one tonight. Great job Bro.
From Indiana here...great work, watch daily
Thanks Chad you explained that will ,good job.
Chad done a great video explaining it and Jolene done a great job videoing it as usually explained it where I can understand it keep up the good work
Videos are getting better. Good on ya sharing this knowledge. I used to do body work for 13 years. Still do on my own projects and teaching my son. Very important to pass these trades on.
Most excellent tips and reminders.
Chad is a good teacher.
Chad. Consider using a vacuum with a hepa filter. It removes the dust rather than moving it around by brushing. Also keeps dust down from the air....your being, lungs and all your shop space. We do this in my construction business. Vac all the time sweep very little. Ends up saving time overall and makes for a nicer work space.
Great tips. Thanks 👍
Thank you Chad and Jolene we'll see you tomaro
I now rush home, eat really quick and put my headphones on to watch the latest episode. Keep up the great work!!
Awesome info thank you great job
Chad makes it so easy to understand and follow.

Since the hood and trunk lid have been stripped . are we going to see this one all the way to paint? I"m hoping so.
Omg. This is fabulous. U go brother.
That long rear deck is absolutely awesome .good choice to both of you
Hi Chad and Jolene, I was so glad to see you wearing the mask today. I know it’s an encumbrance especially when you have to put glasses on as well. A really big thank you. Live long and prosper my friend. Lawrence, Bournemouth, England.
Watching from Macduff Scotland , loving the way you do things , a bit like the way i have done for years so satisfying knowing im not the only one out there doing that way , jolenes great video work shows everything ,

Great video thank you. I like these videos much better than the programs. Thanks again cheers to ya.
I just wanted your last video, and it made perfect sense. I like your explanations. Thanx for the lesson. I like the accent. I'm from Chicago, it sounds like a blend of Chicago & Wisconsin.
Great stuff as always!
Well here we are and again your on it I’ve always done the 40 to 80 we’ve started going to far my paint generally comes out nice, bottom line you rock and we love watching ya ever day! Les 37 Chevy pro street, Sacto Ca
I’m in Oakville, Ontario. Seeing this car in bare metal makes me think it came from a custom shop, not a standard automobile maker. It must have been a challenge for the original production team to pull off. Today, all cars in a classification have a similar wheelbase, sight lines, passenger compartment, Etc. Plus, when the shape is tested to get a certain coefficient of drag, it’s easy to see why we all get the same thing! Anyway,, this ‘T-4-2’ is a beauty. Cheers, guys.

T42 GOOD NAME! Dennis in VANCOUVER WA USA
Love the T-Bird look, as far as the back window, no doubt in my mind, Chad will not be looking for any specific car's rear window, he will go to a junk yard and walk around and see something he thinks would look good. And when he is done, it will end up looking good. My opinion is I don't like the idea of the porthole windows, as it will definitely change the look of the top. I also would not reinstall the chrome strips at the base of the side of the top. Love the daily videos, from Ohio.
She is a great woman. She does a great job ❤
Nice job thanks for sharing
Its looking good
On the window some patterns might be good for experimenting but I"d guess rectangular will be best. Thanks you two!!
Very well explained
She always looks amazing ❤
You love teaching thanks
very very good thanks..
Good evening jolene and chad hope your having a wonderful day today and thank you for sharing your videos I in joy coming home from work and watching a real show

Of all the car restoration shows I watch, including this one, I never see anyone using an air file. I was in the collision industry my whole career, and I used mine almost everyday.
The Ford Oval window would look amazing. No doing a project at the moment, but you sure have put the bug in my ear to get me inspired to do something. Obviously I would not do it as well as you do, but I can certainly use the same enthusiasm you do to do the best I can at my level.
this is lookin awesome!!
Trunk lid looks great!
A++ explanation of the ocean floor Chad. Even I understood that lol. Great camera work again Jolene..Cheers
Great vid as always thanks Chad an Jolene
