Love how you film the whole of each train. The SSR loco combination (six locos) has to be pick of the bunch. Good to see plenty of loading on the SM at the end.

Notice at the beginning there's one of those radar activated "Your speed is" electronic signs that seemed to be getting rather excited. I wonder if it was picking up the speed of the train? ☺ What an awesome lashup that is at 4:55!

I can't believe that you Australians are still running F-series locomotives. Here in North America, those things were retired about 35 years ago!

@@alexclement7221 The lead locomotive in that line up isn't an F-series locomotive, only the streamlined nose was based on that iconic design. As built, it was comparable to the SD40 which is of around the same vintage. They were completely rebuilt in the early 90s, with refurbished engines, upgraded electronics, and a modern cab layout.

Great collection of clips, first train push/pull Qube job didn't look "infrastructure" to me, container flats, ore wagons and ending with more empty container flats. Trust SSR to provide variety, cracking lash up on the grain, great catch there. Your Sony AX53 does a great job Brenden, are you using a tripod or handheld as stability is excellent? Thank you, good job.

For some reason, those grain trains remind me a little of the long departed Southern Pacific sugar beet trains. Must be the horn on the lead locomotive.

How do you manage to catch so many trains during daylight hours? Whenever I look up the ARTC Master Train Plan, they're all running either after sunset or before dawn, and even when there are ones scheduled during the day, they often don't show up.

What's with CLF3, i can't believe there is an old EMD still in operation. Is it fully retrofitted or something? Like just the body shell being original? I'd imagine it would have a different drive line and cabin interior by now?
