Sorry to say but it’s not the even close to one of the most important professions. Aslong as it’s edible and you get your nutrition. Nurse or Neurosurgeon there you got one of the most important professions.

***** Well, the majority of teenagers and adults know how to handle a sharp knife, they realize that the edge cuts. Almost everyone owns knives, people use knives daily for cooking, and they use their off-hand to hold the thing they are cutting, just like in the video. For example, people cut garlic in the same fashion as in the video.

Very nice :) The sharpness of the knife is paramount. It's way more dangerous to cut with a dull knife than with a sharp one, as the chef clearly demonstrates. He also lets the knife do the work rather than apply too much pressure. I like this video.

I’ve never seen an onion diced like that. Very cool. Next time I need to sweat some onion or shallots at home I’m gonna try it. I also am gonna go try that cucumber fan right now.
