Thank you Colton for this needed feature and for all the past and future upgrades. A request please, can you add the feature "show open positions only" that you just introduced in the "Portfolio/Advance" to the "Company/Historical" section? This will allow us, while scrolling, to skip the positions that we already exited. Thanks. Tony

I second that. I like to browse through my actual portfolio in historic graph and dont want to show 5 years old positions where I have no interest to own in again.

Great enhancements, looking forward to those in the pipe! Will we be able eventually to plot the Orange Valuation Line for the whole advanced portfolio? Also, when importing an advanced portfolio with a csv file, is there a specific format for the csv file?

We are working on improving the CSV import process, as well as creating a downloadable template. Also, the valuation line for portfolios is already in the pipeline, but there is no definitive timeline.

Please add a filter that will allow us to search instantly for companies whos price has dropped below the blue and orange lines and a filter for when price has dropped into the dark green zone.. This will save us a lot of time.

Will the advanced portfolios be able to deal with short-term option trading?

Currently, we don't directly support short-term option trading natively. Could you expand on what you are looking for?

@@FASTgraphs I've been a long-time user of FAST graphs for identifying and tracking equities for long-term investment. Alongside, I've developed a separate tool to monitor options associated with these equities, focusing on those reaching a certain yield at a strike price that aligns with my target acquisition cost. Typically, many of these options expire without execution, allowing me to profit from the premiums. When an option is exercised because it's in the money, I'm assigned the equity, but the premium received reduces my cost basis. Similarly, for stocks I perceive as overvalued, I might trim my holdings by selling call options. If these options are exercised, I relinquish the related positions but retain the premium, which, in turn, lowers the cost basis of my remaining stock if the option expires without being exercised. My question pertains to the upcoming portfolio tracking feature and its compatibility with the nuanced trading strategy I've described. Specifically, I'm curious whether eventually integrating this tool with my brokerage account will accommodate the tracking and accounting for option premiums and their impact on cost basis for both executed and unexecuted options. My interest lies in understanding how this new feature will handle the complexities of option trading as it relates to stock valuation and portfolio management.

Does this work well with international stocks, too (e.g. received dividends)? And does the return calculation also take into account currency gains/losses?

With international stocks you should utilize the currency of origin for the best perspective. But when you are looking at the same stock under US dollars it will reflect currency conversions.

Way too much being added to premium and very little anything to basic subscriber's who have been the backbone of FG. What gives?

@westnash, thank you for bringing up your concerns, and we highly value the engagement and feedback from all our subscribers. It’s important to clarify the relationship between our basic and premium services and how they collectively contribute to FastGraphs' growth and improvement. While basic subscribers form a vital part of our community, offering a foundational level of support and user base, it's also true that premium subscriptions play a crucial role in sustaining our financial health and driving innovation. The differentiation between basic and premium subscriptions is designed with the intention of offering a scalable value proposition. Premium features often involve higher development and maintenance costs, and the additional revenue generated from premium subscriptions is reinvested into the platform. This not only enhances the premium offering but also benefits our basic subscribers by allowing us to improve overall service quality, stability, and security. We strive to maintain a fair pricing model. The $480 annual fee for our premium subscription is calculated to reflect the additional value provided, especially in terms of potential returns and efficiencies for your investments and portfolios. While developing these features, we also ensure that our basic subscription remains robust and valuable. We are continually looking for ways to enhance the experience for all our users and ensure that both our basic and premium offerings provide significant value. We appreciate your feedback as it is crucial in helping us to review and adjust our offerings to better meet the needs of our community. Thank you for being a part of FastGraphs, and we hope to continue supporting your investment journey with our services.

@@FASTgraphsI kind of feel the same way, it would be better to simply not offering basic subscription and go 15 days premium or something like that. I've never used the basic subscription because it doesn't offer enough information for the price and I keep upgrading it; and the premium price doesn't convince me to pay annually or even back to back months. With FG, you get fundamentals but still heavily rely on what you read on other sites to get the bigger picture.
