FAST ENGLISH SKILLS: How to Speak English Fast with Linking
#stayhome #withme and #learnathome ! :) Do you want to speak English fast? Are you looking for English speaking lessons? Are you curious about how fast English works? I hope so! In this video I’ll help you learn specific skills for speaking English fast. We’ll look together at a single English sentence, breaking it down to understand it fully. In my opinion if you want to speak fast English the main skill you should work on is linking. When you improve your use of linking, your spoken English will begin to sound more natural and smooth. I will also teach you a bit about rhythm in English. The two concepts work together to help you speak English more like a native speaker. Mastering fast English will become easier as you improve your linking skills. At first you’ll likely feel as if you’re speaking English in a way that’s sloppy or wrong. That’s totally natural! Learning fast English speaking requires a whole new way of you using your voice. It’s totally normal to feel odd at first. But you can do it! I’ll help you pick up this linking skill set quickly and you’ll be on your way to speaking faster English in no time!

I'm convinced that the more you hear, the more you are able to talk like natives. The more I hear, the more natural the word comes out of my mind. That's it!

Love Tom's way of giving the process of analysis. Now I may analyze any sentence systematically by myself. Thank you sooooo much !!! To summary : 1 Analyze Intonation - find peaks (syllable most stressed - highest in pitch/ the most word energy) 2 Analyze Rhythm (replace stressed/ unstressed words with Da/da) 3 Analyze Linking (specific sound linking words together) 4 Analyze All Sounds

My niece Melanie grew up in Vegas and Southern Indiana, and is an up talker. She spent several years teaching English to adults at Inha University in Incheon South Korea. So, if you ever encounter an English speaking, Korean, up talker. . . . .

Write these tips or words down on your favorite note, next you repeat them, then you speak those words out loud again and again. Besides, you have to use those words in your daily life, create specific situation which involves those words and try to engage them together. Speak out with your great confidence. Those automatically are embedded on your mind without worrying while speaking anymore!

Experts say you need to be exposed to a new word at least 10 times so you can recognize it later. Can you imagine how many times your mom said "mom" in your native language before you actually said it? Do like mom do. Repeat, repeat, repeat and repeat again. When you are comfortable with it, repeat it again. haha

you both are FANTASTIC! I've studied enough already to perceive and dedicate time to this RELEVANT kind of analysis. Maybe looks tedious at the beginning (we, learners, tend to dismiss the little details of PRACTICE :-) but I think it's the main scaffolding or American accent. Great work!
