Hi Paul, where do you get all that bamboo for the dragon fruit trellis? The bamboo is a great idea.

Excellent, thanks for watching. Some varieties create 2,3,4, and 5 sided branches! Don't worry about it, if it's healthy, I'm sure it's fine.

If you are having issues rooting dragon fruit I have had great success placing them in water just about an inch or two on top of a heating mat. WILL ROOT IN A FEW WEEKS, GUARANTEED.

But cut the bottom flat or into a triangle (triangle is best” to expose the core then place in water or it may not work.

Yes, I have one that I use in the winter. I like to use soil when it's warm enough in our climate.

@@WhatPlantisthatPaul The water and heating pad method is just to get your hard to root dragon fruit cuttings started. After a few weeks plant them in a small pot indoors if it is winter time if it is summertime then plant in soil outside.

Thanks for info. Before you put them in water, after the cut, did you you put into water right away or had to wait for 3 to 5 days for it to heal the cut? Thanks in advance.

@@kimdoikyanh this Method works best for fresh cut dragon fruit as that is the only way I’ve tried. It works so I don’t mess with it.

Hard to find out there, your best bet is to try and grow a piece of the branch attached to the fruit. I have 2 that I grafted and they are taking off. It's a sensitive variety in my experience.

My bad Columbia yellow grows the worst palora is ok heat and frost sensitive super the best is purple haze , delight , dark star ,physical grahpiti , Vietnam white Robles red Aussie gold , cosmic Charlie , I wanna say voodoo child and sugar dragon but I don’t feel they grow fast enough but I could be wrong I have them in the pot with delight and dark star and they are being dominated I’m going to half to move them stick to 2 cuttings in a pot as well 4 is to much
