I'm Scottish so perhaps Im bias but for me the Clydesdale is the best draught horse you can have nature wise they are great. Good to see you enjoying them.

Both of my grandfathers used work horses on their farms , im not sure of the breeds , that was many many years ago , I remember riding on them holding on to the harness hames , their backs were so broad it was like sitting on a table at my young age.

A bit blurry. But I appreciate the video. My grandpa had a Belguim and long after he changed over to tractors this old workhorse was well taken care of. My brother has pictures of haying done by hand with lines for cutting and 2 horses. Slow work.

i HATE horse owners who chop the tails down , the horse tail his long for a reason to keep flys of them selfe ie horse flys.

the tails are cut so that they don't get tangled in the chains,

1. Their tails should be braided, not chopped. 2. Their manes need trimming, I'm sure they can hardly see at all like that
