I spent four days in a hotel in Phoenix where they were making appearances - they were stabled in their huge traveling tent in the hotel parking lot. I visited them every morning while having my morning coffee. They are sweet, gentle and extremely pampered. It was a rare privilege for a lifetime horse lover to be in their presence. Very special.

The best part: I was chatting with one of the handlers when one of these pampered babies, who was munching alfalfa, took an enormous dump. Horse stops munching and looks over his shoulder to the handler. Handler immediately gets busy cleaning up the stall. Horse hoes back to munching. I said - did he just .......? "Yup, they expect an extremely high level of service!" Said the handler!😂😂. I died laughing.

These are AMAZING animals. I live 10 miles away from the Budweiser Clydesdale breeding ranch (Warm Springs Ranch) and have visited these horses quit a few times. It is pure joy being around them. Their personalities are so gentle. They CRAVE human (and horse) interaction and enjoy being petted. Visitors to the ranch are allowed to pet these STUNNING creatures to their hearts content. Clydesdale horses are one of my top favorite creatures on earth.

I was a five year old horse lover when I got the chance to meet the Budweiser Clydesdales(not these creatures of course but their predecessors) I was awestruck at how gentle and kind these creatures and the staff were. My family and I took pictures and got to pet a few of them. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience

1 corinthians 15:40 40 And there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies; but the glory of the heavenly bodies is one sort, and that of the earthly bodies is a different sort. Verse 50 50 But I tell you this, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s Kingdom, nor does corruption inherit incorruption. The whole chapter explains, some go to heaven to rule with Christ over the earth. There are still earthly promises. Flesh is earthly. We will have peace with all animals. ON EARTH in the future. Crystal Meyers @ Crystal Meyers I’m amazed at how patiently the #8 horse waits his turn to get all his gear taken off! They have been trained VERY WELL! I’ve never before seen them actually being harnessed but something tells me it’s a much bigger ordeal when they’re putting all the harnesses on them than it is when they’re taking it off! My sister told me she had read that the #7 & #8 horses unbridled are the #1 & #2 horses bridled & harnesses to the wagon. That would mean they have all the harnesses & equipment the longest! Yet they stand there waiting patiently for their turn to get all the heavy harnessing off & get in their stall inside the trailer. I love watching them & hope to see them in person at some point in my life! 🙂👏😳👏

When I was a young bloke at school I had the pleasure of caring for a pair of these gentle animals owned by our local milkman. He used them to pull a drop centre milk float that my dad made for him so he didn't have to drive a noisy vehicle when delivering the milk. I also used to go out with him during school holidays to help him with deliveries. I would muck out their stables and give them a bath and feed them before going to school and after school would finish the work I hadn't done. I loved it but found it necessary to watch my footwork when one of them stepped on my left foot. Found out the hard way how heavy they were. It was my fault and I learned quick how to move faster after I got out of hospital and my foot still sometime gives me a bit of trouble time to time.I was about 13/14 then and I am now 85. Shows how much they can impress you don't it???? lol long lasting memories for sure.

the proof is on them you idiot, do you think horses are naturally bourn with stumps for tails. docking may have helped horses once upon a time when they were working in poor factories that didn't have time to actually help them but today it is so unnecessary. if they get the best care in the world why can't their handlers spend 20 minutes braiding or just cutting the tail. besides it serves more of a purpose than being a pretty accessory they need it to swat flies away, imagine being left in a fly infested field with no arms because some one decided they were a hindrance to you. not that these poor horses get any time in the fields any way

Arachnofondler They are mass bred, hudrends of foals born each year with females being bred again as soon as they stop nursing, and only the ones who have the iconic colour are kept all others are discarded. Their tails are dock, where most of their vertebra are removed and the poll strap forces their heads up and causes neck weakness among many other problems as well as being horribly uncomfortable. How would you like to hardly be able to move your head? See the horses shaking their heads? That means they are in extreme discomfert at having their heads tied and forced up, also the type of bit they are using is incredibly painful and can cause mouth weakness, see how they had to wipe away their foaming mouths? These animals are horribly mistreated and people should NOT be defending them and their animal abuse practices, what they do is literally classified as animal abuse in many countries and horribly frowned upon in the US as it is. Its terribly sad how people think what they do is ok :(
