Farming Simulator 19 - Tutorial for Cultivators, Plows, Disc Harrows, Power Harrows, and Subsoilers

Ойындар

Sorry... My newer videos are much better than this...
This is a Farming Simulator 19 guide on how to use cultivators, plows, subsoilers, disc harrows, and power harrows. It describes the difference between these tools and the advantages of each different tool.
Also note this is one of my first videos and I changed the channel name to Farmer Cop after these were made.

    I almost thought this was a different person. Been ripping through the rest of 17. Bought 19 last week. Knowing how many mistakes I made through 17, I recognize I need much more information than what the game gives me. Lol.

    Great tip for using a subsoiler in place of a plow for creating fields. That's going to be so much easier.

    You HAVE to have the cultivator create fields mod installed for that one to work just an FYI I totally forgot to mention it in the video

    Thanks for doing this video. So, can you pull the bigger pieces with tractors that don't meet the power requirements? And will doing that make your tractors need more maintenance (break down faster)?

    And I found you can not do plow contracts with the sub soil machine as it is not allowed access to the land because the game does not recognise it as a plow.

  • @FarmerCop

    @FarmerCop

    In real life, yes, in game it does not matter though, there is in game no reason other than realism to plow AND cultivate if that makes sense. In the real world farmers will sometimes plow to get the nutrients from below turned up and then have to cultivate to help smooth out the field for a seeder if that makes sense

    @@CarEnjoyer420 i think cultivating is faster than subsoil. so if you don't have to plow, you don't need to sub soil, might as well cultivate because it's faster

    No, you need to plow every time after some crops, ie, corn. The every "third" time you are referring to applying lime.
