Farewell Drive in my fully restored BMW E34 V8
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Its a bittersweet day, join me on the final farewell drive as I deliver my fully restored BMW E34 530i to its new owner. I mostly rant about things that I love and will miss about the car, and redline the engine occasionally.

It is sad to see them leave. But something new will come along and the thrill begins again.
Done a great job in SAVING an e34. We tend to forget that it was the class-leading executive class car contemporaneously. Thanks for that!
I will die owning the m60b40 engine. The elegance of this psycho-feeding platform is not comparable, a car calling one to travel and discover the place in good sound...healthy for my tibialis anterior muscle😊. Well done on your successful restoration!❤

Well said!!
Greetings Canadian Cousin!! I’ve enjoyed watching your progress on the stunning e34 platform. I’m the original owner of a 1995 525i factory 5 speed. I bought it new and have enjoyed wrenching on it for almost 30 years. I could never sell it but I also understand your decision to sell it. You have seriously mad skills along with some OCD to perfect this project. I’m looking forward to your next video on the cost labor analysis. Cheers, George

Thank you George!! Appreciate you following along on the journey 👏
I have a 540i that is 6 speed manual swapped with 540i / M5 suspension upgrades (springs/shocks/sway-bars) and it's sublime, certainly not a all out sports car but a very fun touring car, endlessly fun to drive at any speed.

lovely! cheers
Whoa, first time I caught this episode on my feed! I have a 1990 535i e34 and had a 1990 750iL e32 and a 1990 525i e34. I, now, daily drive a truck for work and every time I get into the e34 with 16" e39 wheels and new Bilstein 5100s, I feel like I'm driving a go-cart! Great vid!

Great collection! Glad you found the channel!
My daily driver is a 94 530i! Silky smooth V8, it’s a gentleman sedan. I love my car

Totally agree, thanks for watching and enjoy it!!
I can totally relate to what you’re saying!! I recently got a E90 316i just so that I would not become obsessed with fixing, restoring and spending waaay too much time on the car😂 But I’ve still had the engine apart, done some suspension and bodywork on it… it’s a disease!!

Mucho e34 geek speak equals e34 paradise. Oh what a beauty, great restoration dude, she sounds glorious when you open her up yet she's whisper quiet when cruising, truly a well designed platform. Yes I know she/it is an inanimate object but I can't help thinking an e34 has a soul. Somehow an e34 has the ability to wrap itself around you like the four corners are extensions of the senses in your fingers. Ok the steering may not be as scalpel sharp as a 911 but e34's certainly inspire confidence without compromising comfort, "lush" is the right word my man. Sad that you're not keeping the old girl but it seems it's going to a good home where it will be treasured and enjoyed. That really is a wonderful story and very befitting after all your efforts to give her a new lease of life. I agree with everything you've said in this video, you're clearly a man of astute discernment and taste! 😎👍

Well done. Nice work. But you don't know what it could have been, not having resored the suspension and driven it properly on a curvy road. This car is bad at going straight and starts to feel good when it corners. Still an amazing transformation in terms of looks. A for effort.
