    I'm a little confused about lift points. It appears it doesn't lift by the pinch weld area but by pads located elsewhere. How do you know if this will work on your car?

    Hey there, I was just wondering where you bought the BE bearings and ARP bolts from? I am in Ontario as well with my high mileage S65 (250k) and want to do this service too but just don't know where to order from Thanks!

    Hey - I think I bought the RB's from ECS tuning and the bolts either from them or from FCP euro. Cheers and good luck!

    @@DeadEndRestorations Thanks! I am in Ottawa so only about an hour. I heard horror stories from ECS damaging packages and shipping out the wrong items. DId you experience that at all?

    Very nice! But...A car that has the full set of underbody panels.... I don't think I would be able to remove the panels with those wide lift sections under the car. I have a 997 and pretty sure it won't work. My Quickjacks work well, but don't' go as high of course. Thanks for the video! -Tom.

    Annnd he is back! Bringing her back from the dead. That rear bumper and rear of the car might need a blend, paint correction unlikely to get it looking right (ask me how I know lol)

    Glad to see a video! I love those tires, I had them on my E90 M3 and I loved them! They have fantastic traction for country roads and light track duty. They work well in the wet as well.

    Ya i need to paint correct the rest of the car as the old paint is a bit faded (lighter) vs the new. This is what happens when you only paint the bumpers vs ‘blend’ in other panels with new paint. Cheers!

    @@DeadEndRestorations Oh okay gotcha! Well, now I have another thing to look forward to. I know I've said this before but you are awesome. I won't compare you to another KZreadr but I love that you are restoring the car and doing most of the work (restoration) yourself (DIY style) instead of going down the modding route. • @DeadEndRestorations

    to mount/remove them the lift needs to be up as it rotates the pipe that the wheels attach to. Cheers!

    2:45 I think I see this view in diagram 501282007. Investigating further, but that's page 472 of my electrical troubleshooting manual. I thought this would be an interesting lil challenge Edit #1: I spot a poorly OCRd fuse labeled "F8663" on page 33 Edit #2: on page 115 it appears to be F8693??

    great video! curious, when the freight truck came to your home to delivery the heavy items, did you have to pay for liftgate service, and did they drop it off on the curbside or on your driveway? Or, did they help you lift it into your garage? Any insight would be helpful, as that is my only hesitation to purchase heavy equipment. I have a sloping driveway into the garage and not sure how to handle the last 25 feet of maneuvering, even if I rented a pallet jack from the hardware store. Any insights are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

  • @DeadEndRestorations
    @DeadEndRestorationsАй бұрын

    Truck had a lowering ramp and the driver used a pallet jack and the two of us barely pulled it up the driveway and into the garage. My driveway is a slight incline but nothing major and it was very difficult. You better call some strong friends over the day it gets delivered :)

    I just got my Quickjack 7000tl. I have 9ft ceilings and 7.5ft garage door up. The QJ max lift maxes out possibly lift height in my garage. Plus they are easy to move for a temporary paint booth which is important for restoring cars.

    Hey buddy. Loved the video. Very clear and concise. I am sold and hope to get this same product in the future. My current barriers are, I don’t have a garage 😂 and two, I don’t have a 220 outlet. So the plan is to get those two things first and then I will pick up one of these lifts. I also mainly work on aircooled VWs that don’t have frames and use a floor pan design, but this should still work fine. I’m excited about getting one and it would take my hobby to a whole nother level😆 pun intended.

  • @Alan_Edwards
    @Alan_Edwards29 күн бұрын

    I have the same issue with not access to 220 unless I rewire my garage's panel which is a big job in and of itself being as my garage is not attached. Still trying to justify the expense too, but man I want one.
