Farage Challenged On Brexit By Audience Member!

A member of the audience during the Question Time session asked Nigel Farage about Brexit and his claim that it would allow Britain to prosper. The Reform UK leader's response was that it was both helping and not, but that was the fault of the Tories.

Farage is exactly like Trump a blatant liar, but one who is not afraid to lie to anyone while knowing that they know that he lies. The difference with Frump is that Farage KNOWS he's lying, while Flump thinks he's God and believes his 'alternative reality'. Trull is rotten and mentally ill. Farage is just arrogantly evil.

Farage does not tell the whole truth. Before the Brexit referendum we were 4th largest exporter. We dropped to 7th due to the referendum. We managed to regain 4th place only due to massive gold "exports ". Not real exports as these are just paper transactions in and out. We do not mine / produce gold !

Have the main parties or media ever spoken about British made things? Compare with NHK World (507 on Sky or freely on their website) Japanese TV. The themes on BBC (other than Poirot etc) are Neo Marxist themes of the parasite who wants regulations to stop the winners and live off the effort of the others: "man oppressing woman"; "Anglo-Saxon oppressing other races"; "Man damaging Nature"; "Family unit disenfranchising the gay person" (and other varieties). All of these are what the media, and all parties with the exception of REFORM UK talk bout constantly. How can we not vote for REFORM UK? Some of you wont but I and my other three family members with vote REFORM UK with GREAT PLEASURE. I have a vid on my channel with intellectual reasons to vote reform (other reasons) if you have 15 minutes to watch it.

As a small business I never "exported" because there was far too much paperwork involved. I was able to get by nicely selling to a "domestic" market of around 500 million potential customers. Then Brexit happened and despite the promise made in the "Vote Leave" campaign literature* my "domestic" market dropped overnight to a mere 70 million potential customers while extending delivery times for components bought. What little I was able to successfully sell into the EU after Brexit counts as exports but what I sold around Europe before that was not "exported" * There is a free trade zone from Iceland to Turkey and the Russian border, and we will be part of it

Brexit essentially took away most of my EU trade and had to use a third party to send into the EU for those willing to pay extortionate postage plus tax. The other negative is the cost of living as the items I sell are more luxury than essential goods.

Although Sunak & Co have been claiming that the UK is maintaining 4th place, when various aspects are striped out as Sky News did recently the UK is 7th/8th. Doesn't look so rosy in reality, plus they often use gross figures, and conveniently ignore adjustments for inflation, which hides lower volumes.

They wanted to keep the deregulation for themselves and would have had an easy time undercutting all other EU countries! And at the expense of savers. We are talking about a huge capital market for EU citizens worth trillion, the largest market in the world! It is twice as big as the USA. From June 2025, the UK will be hit hard by derivatives and clearing business, which will then disappear. Other EU businesses will be affected as well. The EU has seen through the dirty tricks of the UK politicians and bankers and they have received their comeuppance! The main reason for BREXIT was the deregulation of banks and the like! Sigh... _lies about the exports._ Adjusted for the anomalous gold import/exports, the UK was fourth largest overall pre-BRexit for several years - and is now fifth largest overall. _But!_ You have to take these figures with a pinch of salt because a lot of these exports are value added re-exports to imports. So, you import a widget, paint it with a Union Jack and re-export it for a marginal increase. Whoo hoo! Big exporter. Not.

Brexit is not yet impacting services because this is still in a transitional phase, but that will also change halfway through 2025, then every company that provides services must also have a contact person in the country to whom it provides services. For example, for an online real estate agent who sells English houses via the internet, the rule will be that he must also have a contact person in every country where he offers the houses on the internet, so if he offers them throughout Europe he will have to have twenty-seven contact persons. namely one in every country. If you think Brexit is over, you will be in for a surprise next year because quite a few transitional arrangements will expire

I doubt it's his fault there. One thing I notice these doom and gloom "the West is falling" people don't understand is that it's not the West doing worse, but the rest of us doing better. The West didn't do anything wrong, it's just that, without foreign occupation and dictatorships, a lot of us can improve our living standards and that's what we did. The old difference between the West and the rest is decreasing because we're more stable outside of the Western world. Or at least some of us are. A country with 1.3 billion people was bound to eventually overtake a country with 67 million people, just through sheer numbers. More people eventually means a higher total productivity.
