Honestly, the way we were cheated out of fighting the final boss proves how good the writing of this character is. I mean, he denies you the satisfaction of killing him. Instead, he dies on his own terms, even shooting Diego. That just goes to show how much of a bastard he is, and how you love to hate him.

It truly shows that Antòn was a coward on the inside. He didn't want Dani to kill him and redeem his son, Antòn was THAT selfish to see Yara change for the better. He was scared...Libertad was successful in making the lion scarred... I wish we could've fought a tank that was amine to EMPs like José's boss battle or something...but to be honest...not fighting Antòn made more since. He didn't have magical abilities like Joseph did, he was a man at his death bed...he would've died in one shot... Sayonara Antòn...you fucking coward.. Rest In Peace Diego, your good will and heart will not be forgotten..

The “bossfights” felt all extremely anticlimactic to me. The local leaders were as trivially dispatched as they were introduced. Non of it felt like a victory and had next to no consequences for the area since military presence never decreases in any way.

I actually like the theme of sorts in this game. Dictatorship vs Anarchy is how I see it. Watching the ending and all, I don't believe the revolutionaries would make a greater Yara than Castillo could do with complete control, but I don't support Castillo's dictatorship. Sure, it'll be hard to make a new goverment after the revolution 'burned' everything but I do believe after Castillo's goverment, the revolutionaries will have their turn with anarchy and failed democracy before Yara can balance itself in the future.

I think that's the main theme in this game: critics toward the never ending revolutionary movement. Dani and Juan got sucked to guerilla fight forever, with Juan being a sellout and a dope smuggler to finance the rebellion. Eyes for eyes and all of that violence stuff can only bring these revolutionaries to throw the regime but not to govern the country. I like the protagonist, but damn i would really hate him/her in real life because they are only good at fighting not rebuilding.

@@atallitalian7816 That's fair. Me, I found that each of the siblings were a good reflection of different paths towards help, twisted in a dark fashion. John wanted to help people with guilt. Jacob wanted to eradicate weakness. And Faith just sort of wanted everyone to be happy. But all of them went about in the most extreme measures. Plus, all three of them were damaged and dealt with it in such a way that you could both despise them and feel sort of bad for them, especially since seeing each of their last moments, they seem to understand what they've become, and ultimately wanted to be understood. Something even Joeseph understands he neglected to their detriment and his regret. But Far Cry 6? All of them just boil down to "Crazy, vicious fascist." They have no personal philosophy. No human moment. Or any strong connection to the Protag/Dani, something I think was made worse by our interactions being externally cinematic, instead of the traditionally suffocating First-Person view, letting us be consumed by the villainy and madness of the antagonists. I just think they kind of dropped the ball here like they did with Far Cry 4's villains. Great Main but forgettable Side Villains.

Why does this game look so cheap. Far Cry is literally one of the longest lasting series and Ubisoft is a huge publisher. This shouldn't look this bad. I haven't seen one clip from this game that makes it look like it's worth a play. Edit* Graphics aren't that important to me, but the graphics and gameplay of this game look stale as hell. It'll be decently fun cause most Far Cry's are, but it's disappointing to people who thought they'd actually improve the game for ps5.

Lol if that was real life then there is no protagonist. He would be dead instantly since he set foot on that island. And even if he got that far to the first boss, then surely one helicopter is enough to take him down by 1 missile to the tower. Kaboom puta!

Anton is the only decent character in this game.

Far Cry was never a franchise that should take its story or characters seriously. Which is why it is essential for it's gameplay to be top tier. Which is why it's even worse that we don't get to PLAY a boss battle vs Anton. Such a waste of a payoff. At that last stage once suddenly the chemical that his entire dictatorship has been built upon doesn't work and his cancer surges, I knew the whole story had been completely pointless. But then to have him kill his own son after spending the game protecting him and teaching him lessons on how to become a ruler....what??? Never felt this shallow for a video game story, and I wasn't even in it for the story man.

Besides form Anton all the other Vllains are lame disappointing considering that the previous games had some awesome Villains outside of the main big bad . Like John Jacob and faith seed , Buck and hoyt hell imo even Yuma and Pual form fc4 were cool with the little screen time they had . I aint going to remember any of this clowns
