She’s quite something. And a storyteller. Thanks. You probably want to watch the video for “Born Without a Heart”. It’s well done visually and the arrangement includes more than just piano. And she ends with a bit of tag she didn’t sing here.

Thank you for posting one of the greatest covid concerts of all time. Most importantly, by a beautiful Canadian singer-songwriting in an iconic theater in Winnipeg called the Burton Cummings theater. Burton Cummings was a tremendous iconic singer in Canada from Winnipeg and to have Faouzia singing in his venue just adds more credence through the absolute talent that this young woman possesses. Every single song from this concert was phenomenal. Most importantly. Faouzia wrote all the music and the lyrics for these songs. It's amazing how great she is. And I agree in Canada where I'm also from. She's not known at all. I can talk to anybody on the street and friends of mine. Never heard of her. But I'm slowly letting everyone know by listening to her and what they've been missing for the past few years. I agree she has sung with all the great stars including John legend and Kelly Clarkson to name a few ! . A few years ago at the Juno awards she was nominated for best young artist and I think she finished second which is absolutely crazy. I can't understand that at all. But not to worry because her fans all over the world know she is a true true artist. I was fortunate enough to see her in Toronto a few years ago and if you get a chance her live concerts are unbelievable. She sounds even better in person and can hit all those notes that you see with no auto-tune or any adjustments to her voice. She is that good. I want to thank you for posting this absolute gem. You are a true believer and a wonderful soul and it's much appreciated by her fans all over the world. Keep posting my friend. Your KZread channel is so important and it's always much watch for me.. From another Canuck I'm sending you much thanks and love from Canada. 👍🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️❤️❤️

I've loved Faouzia for so many years and I'm so glad she is gaining more recognition these days. This version of Tears of Gold, and a few other songs in this performance are actually slightly changed and reserved compared to previous official/dedicated "Stripped" versions she has put out. I highly suggest checking out the individual Stripped videos for some of the songs performed here. Truly magnificent!

With this concert, you have seen most of the songs that made us fans of Faouzia for about four or five years now in many cases. So you see who she is as an artist overall, but you can still see each of these songs separately in their stripped versions, some of them are also really good in their official versions, I’m not as much of a hater of the official stuff as some are, But for sure to see her at her best and the best showcases of her talent, you can’t go wrong with the stripped versions. Not all of the official stuff is good, though, some have too much production and too much autotune, but some of them are still really good like “this mountain“ for example. That song is good in the stripped and official version.

Hi Gorgeous Ash :)))) ♥ Loved your lengthy review to the point I've put it on repeat twice :) OMGsh , here are my 3 notes : 1) She is seriously competing with the piano !! Complementing rather than competition (who is supporting who ! GOSH!) 2) All songs ends unresolved ... making us listeners waiting for more .. while living the lyrics deeply! 3) most of her high note vocals are as if she is crying out laud (crying soul!) never fails to push my tears drop! FAOUZIA is either a GENIUS Musical phenomenon or a pure undiscovered musical cave of wonders ! Cheers lovely Ash ;))))))))

Love that she tries new sounds and puts more of a pop spin on things as well as when she delves into a club vibe… so awesome and SO versatile!! Keep diving down this rabbit hole I’m pretty sure you’ll love everything! I was SO disappointed I didn’t get to see her when she was playing in TO in 2022, we have just moved from there to NS about 2 months before the concert!😢 I keep checking to see when she might come out the NS way! 🇨🇦 ❤❤❤

She sang Crazy (Gnarls Barkley) in Round 1, finishing second, Set Fire to the Rain (Adele) winning the round, and Desert Rose (Sting) on Friday, winning again (and impressing Adam Lambert).

Like Puppet; Hero; La La La; Don't Call Me; RIP Love: 1L0V3Y0U; Habibi;... and many more. You could also check out some of the songs she's covered like Desert Rose (Sting); Middle Child (J. Cole); I'm Blue (Eiffel 65) and more. Or definitely check out Minefields ft. John Legend (SO good!). Keep going on this road, she's fantastic!!❤

Great reaction like always!! I have a few recommendations if u dont mind :)) If you want more Melanie content, especially LIVE, i HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest watching the "Can't wait till I'm out of K-12 virtual tour" !! each performance of the songs have INCREDIBLE vocals, as well as the VISUALS, it almost feels like music videos of their own (Especially whens he performs the After School songs) I think i've seen this recommendation be tossed around in ur comment sections a few times, so I'm just relaying it haha And I also highly HIGHLY suggest listening to the bonus tracks to Ethel Cain's "inbred" EP.. these tracks were CD exclusive, but you can find the audios on youtube! They're AMAZING, and I feel are extremely underrated, and the songs made me cry!! (There's also a solo version of Michelle Pfeiffer from the bonus tracks bcs lets be honest.. her features in that EP kinda sucked lol) Anyways, thank u again for feeding us amazing content as usual

TheDocyounes Canada is a nation, not an ethnicity or a race. Simply put, people born in Canada, or immigrants to Canada, whether from Morocco, Italy, Japan, Egypt or any other country, they're called Canadians. Faouzia is Canadian because Canada is her home and where she began her career as an artist. In Canada, multinational immigrants stress their origins, so Faouzia is referred to as a Moroccan-Canadian.

I think now you can get why I said in the Für Elise video that it was one of my least favorite songs. It's not that it's bad, it's that her whole catalog is so good. And you still have to hear Hero, Puppet, This Mountain... She is perhaps the most talented singer songwriter of her generation, and clearly a super intelligent person. Remember that beyond the art she is also an engineer. And plays Violin, Piano and Guitar. I have a feeling she will blow up over the next few years, now that her education is finishing and she can put all the energy and knowledge in her career. I admire her a lot. Canada, and Morocco, can be proud. If you like this sort of voice, I suggest you also listen to Diana Ankudinova and Miravi, two russian singers that have strong deep voices and great mielismas. Diana Ankudinova is who I put at number 1 for female vocals, because her voice is unique. The ranking is just subjective preference, art is not an objective science, many other people will rank artists and songs differently.
